Global Awakening: Apocalypse Ender's Chronicle
Chapter 779: Eclipse Domain’s Despair
CHAPTER 779: ECLIPSE DOMAIN’S DESPAIR
The Vampire Knights that Statham gathered this time weren’t low in numbers...
Another dived low and even rammed its body against the barrier.
Thud!
Ibrahim snapped his revolver again, and the chamber clicked.
"Echo."
BANG!
The bullet ripped through its chest, then ricocheted like a bolt of lightning, tearing into a second Vampire Knight nearby. Both were annihilated in an instant!
’Good!’
Ibrahim was excited since all the training he had done was for this moment!
Seeing how many Vampires were already dropping despite their continued attack on the barrier, the men cheered as their morale was boosted.
"Keep shooting!" Ibrahim roared. "As long as I stand here, this barrier won’t fall!"
Well, that was a bit too bold to claim, but Ibrahim was feeling it! This was his moment...
The Vampires then shrieked louder as they also used sound attacks to destroy the barrier...
It seemed to be effective too!
They began to scream in unison, gathering their dark energy at the same time to create a crimson sphere above the barrier... It was another attack meant to shatter Gaia’s Defense in one catastrophic blow.
The sound attack was simply weakening the Barrier’s hold, and the crimson sphere was definitely their last resort!
Anna felt the pain from the screams of the Vampires...
After all, the sound attacks pass through the barrier for some reason!
She rushed out from the lab and stared at the sight in horror from a distance. The sky looked like it was bleeding as hundreds of Vampires pooled their power together.
"I’ll destroy it!" Ibrahim shouted as he raised his revolver, and this time, he used his sixth bullet.
"...Oblivion," he said before triggering the spell.
BANG!
The revolver’s shot didn’t just fire—it detonated.
As the description said, the Oblivion bullet shoots with the power of Holy Light, and it covers a large area!
The impact unleashed a holy shockwave, vaporizing dozens of Vampires instantly. The vampires burned as their bodies were reduced to ash.
However, the crimson sphere was still there!
The crimson sphere only trembled violently from Ibrahim’s Oblivion shot.
Still, it shredded a huge portion of it along with dozens of Vampires in the process.
Then, it was at this time that the sphere was thrown to their barrier!
RRRMMMBLLEEEE!
The entire Eclipse Domain shook as the crimson sphere detonated.
"Hold—!!" Ibrahim tried to shout, but it was too late.
The Gaia’s Defense integrity continued to drop!
The adaptive shield resisted, strengthening itself, but not without sacrifice. On the north quadrant, a section of the emerald dome shattered!
CRAAAASSHHH!
A hole, no bigger than a wagon, was torn open. And that was all the Vampires needed.
Several figures immediately dove through the opening!
"BREACH!" a marksman shouted in panic.
"Contain them! Do not let them spread!" Ibrahim ordered sharply.
Elven archers continued to shoot with their arrows as they fired in rapid succession...
Several Vampires were pinned before they could scatter, but more slipped into the buildings, hunting for prey.
And then, everything grew cold.
Even the Vampires outside the barrier seemed to hold their breath.
A figure stepped out of the crimson mist that used to shatter the barrier...
It was another vampire... His skin was pale but clad in a dark armor...
This was no ordinary Vampire.
This was Statham, the Vampire Lord.
In just a couple of breaths...
And he stood directly in front of Ibrahim.
Several figures who were just running towards Ibrahim’s location, like Hanzo and Argus, the Epic Recruits, together with Sona, the Ice Magician, and Kain the Werewolf, were stunned at the sight...
They couldn’t believe how Statham got so close to Ibrahim!
Statham’s presence was suffocating. Just behind him felt like inhaling a poison...
"So... this is the man with the annoying bullet... I guess that’s a Legendary Grade weapon." Statham said as he suppressed Ibrahim completely...
The man couldn’t even escape even if he wanted to!
"You’ve killed more of my knights in a few minutes than most armies do in days. That’s impressive." Statham muttered.
At this time, Ibrahim used all his remaining energy to say his revolver...
If not, he might really die at this point!
"You won’t take this shelter," Ibrahim replied with gritted teeth.
"Not while I’m still standing."
Statham chuckled at tgus,,,
"Then I will simply break you first."
Before Ibrahim could pull the trigger, Statham vanished.
WHOOSH!
The Vampire Lord struck Ibrahim’s chest!
CLAAAANG!
Ibrahim’s Safety Protection Token was triggered!
Crash!
The barrier was destroyed, including the token, and the impact forced him back three steps!
If not for that barrier and the Epic-Grade Chainmail on him, he might’ve really died from that one move!
"Captain!" the marksmen shouted as they raised their rifles to fire!
"Don’t interfere! Target the Vampires entering the shelter! The Shinja’s coming!"
Shinja was one of the strongest Legendary Recruits not just because of his skill as a warlord but also the investment Shane had made...
Shinja was filled with Legendary Grade weapons and Tier 5 equipment.
He just needed to buy some time in order to survive!
The chamber clicked as Ibrahim used
"...Severance."
BANG!
The shot exploded at near point-blank range, a golden bullet rushed toward Statham’s wing joint.
However, it was already too late...
The bullet only grazed Statham’s wings as Ibrahim’s headless body collapsed to the ground with a heavy thud...
Just like that, the defenders who had once believed their captain was invincible with the Legendary Grade were frozen...
One by one, the soldiers on the ramparts fell as Vampire Lord Statham drained their blood and Spirit Points!
None of these soldiers could withstand his speed.
It wasn’t a fight.
It was a massacre.
However, the Vampire Lord tried it with the Elves, but he was met with strong resistance...
"You elves... Why are you even existing in this realm? You’re not supposed to be here. How did you get recruited by Shane... Tell me and I’ll spare your pitiful lives." Statham asked.
He had been thinking about this for a long time, and he couldn’t come up with any plausible reason that would explain their existence here!
