CHAPTER 780: STATHAM, THE VAMPIRE LORD

As soon as the elves got closer, they ditched their bows and arrows as they raised their blades and staffs for close-quarter combat.

Using the Enchanted Blades and staffs made of World Tree branches would definitely deal more serious damage than their arrows...

"Are you deaf?" Statham asked as the elves gave Statham no answer.

Instead, they just attacked in unison! As if it was beneath them to even talk to a vampire!

"Ha!"

Just like that, the Elves used their magical abilities to fight against the Vampire Lord!

Roots burst from the ground, vines lashed out like whips, and several sharp leaves tried to put a whole on his body!

"This is so weird seeing in a Zombie Infestation Apocalypse..." Statham muttered as he felt that the elves weren’t using Spirit Energy.

Instead, it was Mana... It shouldn’t be something that could exist in this realm! However, for some reason, they had no trouble wielding it and in large amounts at that.

The Elves, on the other hand, didn’t bother about Statham’s thoughts... Spells blessed by the World Tree’s grace continued to pour down on the Vampire Lord!

Unfortunately, Statham didn’t just come here without preparations.

He already had the strength that fight equally against Shane with his Legendary Armor Set and other pieces of equipment...

Statham easily tore through the roots as if they were dry twigs.

The sharp leaves that struck his body shattered against his aura like brittle glass. His body seemed to be invincible as the Elves were struggling to even cut his skin.

The vines that coiled around his limbs barely restricted his movements... He just flexed once, and the bindings exploded into green mist.

"As I thought... You’re all nothing without the presence of those Survivors... This should give Shane a good surprise."

He then rushed forward as his fist crashed into the nearest elf.

Bang! The impact sent the man flying across the courtyard, crashing into a stone wall with a loud crack.

The elves gasped as their formation was shattered.

"How...? We are blessed by the World Tree itself!" one of the elves cried as they knew that they were filled with the power of the World Tree, to be exact, the young world tree that Shane had planted.

Although they all had Safety Protection Tokens that could save their lives from a critical attack, they had a limited number of them. They couldn’t get attacked by that same move several times or they would really die.

Even with their Epic-Grade Armor Set, the one in front of them could definitely pierce through it!

"Use everything you have, even if you drain all your mana! We have to kill this thing!" One of the elves shouted.

Just like that, elves poured all of their remaining energy in hopes of overwhelming the Vampire Lord.

"Haaa... World Tree, huh..." Statham then raised his arm as he indeed felt that power, the nature getting stronger.

The elven spells then started tearing shallow burns into his skin, but nothing more.

"Is that all?" Statham asked.

With a smirk, he endured the barrage and struck again. He didn’t even use his Blood Spells as he used his fish to deal with the Elves...

With a wave of his hand, he broke their ribs, shattered shields, and left the defenders writhing on the ground.

The Elves struggled, but they fought desperately, summoning living walls of bark, thorn storms, and even blades of wind born, but none of it slowed him for long.

Statham was unstoppable, and no matter what the elves did, they couldn’t even make him struggle. Soon, there was blood everywhere...

Even with the World Tree’s power flowing in their veins, it barely scratched Statham...

Confusion began to spread among them. Their blessings should have made them untouchable — yet against this monster, they were nothing...

Statham had seen enough...

He already learned a lot of things about the Elves’ Nature Spells and their Mana...

"It’s definitely strong... You just chose the wrong opponent." Statham muttered.

He then grabbed one elf by the throat and slammed him into the ground hard enough to leave a crater.

Boom!

Another tried to heal her comrades, but Statham’s backhand sent her crashing through the wooden beams of a nearby watchtower.

Bang!

The elves were on the verge of breaking... However, it wasn’t easy to help them... Hundreds of Vampires and Vampire Knights were already causing trouble.

The Warden Units, the Super Soldiers, the Mercenaries, and other fighters, including the Survivor Pets, were all busy... They had to protect the evacuation area where the old, young, and any non-combatant Survivors were hiding.

Then, as the Elves were considering whether to use their life essence to fight against Statham, a sharp whistle was heard...

Then, from the residential district, Hanzo appeared with his blades...

Whoosh~

His strike forced Statham back a step — the first time the monster had been pushed since the fight began.

"Ho~ Did Shane prepare the weapon to deal with me?" Statham muttered as he looked at the Blessed Silver Blade being used by Hanzo...

Against Zombies and other enemies, this blade was definitely a bad idea... However, if used against Vampires, it would be a great weapon.

Almost immediately, Argus charged in, his Silver Greatsword filled with burning energy, forcing Statham to block instead of advance.

"Fall back, elves!" Hanzo barked. "He’s ours!"

The battered elves staggered behind... There was a relief and shame mingling in their eyes. They thought that he had already gotten a lot stronger, but against the Vampire Lord, they just felt so weak and unaccomplished.

"We’ll help the Super Soldiers..." One of the elves announced as they immediately left the area...

As soon as the elves left, a wave of freezing wind swept across the battlefield.

Sona the Ice Magician descended and trapped Statham’s movements with her Ice Pillar!

Beside her, Kain the Werewolf, was ready to strike at any given opportunity.

The two Epic Recruits and two Slaves finally arrived to deal with Statham, the Vampire Lord!
