Global Awakening: Apocalypse Ender's Chronicle
Chapter 899: Looting Spree
CHAPTER 899: LOOTING SPREE
"Everyone! The Zombie Pigs... I think they will not stop spawning until the Red Night Event ends! This is a blessing! Just kill and do not stop! Everyone must work together! GO! Let’s farm."
After Shane’s announcement, he charged into the next wave... He easily crushed the Zombie Pigs coming at him. Of course, he didn’t use very powerful Skills that could eliminate so much at once since he was also lacking in Spirit Points right now...
He just used his speed and combat skills as he eliminated as many pigs as he could while surrounded by his people... Well, he must also give the others a chance to get more loot...
Fighters, cooks, engineers, medics. All of them united in one final push for a better reward.
And for once... the Red Night didn’t feel like a curse.

At Silver Mine Camp, the mood had been grim for hours.
They had suffered the highest casualties among Shane’s network.
The outer wall was barely holding, the main gate had been replaced with scrap metal, and the Shelter Core Chamber had been exposed during a breach. Morale was low.
But when the Zombie Pigs arrived... everything changed.
Diana stood atop the half-collapsed watchtower, and as soon as she confirmed that these pigs were treasures, she immediately gave a command.
"All miners, all workers... Everyone who can fight, grab something and get out there! We need the meat! Safe or unsafe, it doesn’t matter. Anna can treat the bad ones! Kill and loot them all!"
Soon, hundreds of miners emerged from the tunnels and storage bays. They carried pickaxes, drills, reinforced shovels, and even mining carts rigged with spikes.
They were Level 25 and above... They were tough, durable, and used to hard labor.
And against Zombie Pigs, they were unstoppable.
One miner named Gallo swung his pickaxe like a warhammer, almost cleaving through three pigs in one blow. Another, a woman named Louella, used her ore drill to punch holes straight through the undead flesh.
Loot notifications flooded the camp as they soon gained a lot of experience points and loot from the pigs!
Diana herself joined the fray, dual-wielding short blades as she carved through the pigs...
"Don’t hold back!" she shouted. "We’ll feast tonight!"
Silver Mine Camp, once on the brink of collapse, was now roaring with energy.

At Springriver Manor, Raze stood atop the central rampart as she scanned the horizon.
The manor had held firm through the worst of the Red Night, thanks to layered enchantments and disciplined formations, but everyone was exhausted.
Then the Zombie Pigs arrived.
Bloated, pale, and squealing, they charged in waves. But they were slow. Weak. Barely a threat.
Soon, Raze also realized the situation, and even Cloud, which was connected to the nearest Warden Unit, confirmed a similar state in other shelters.
Raze’s lips curled into a rare smile.
"Roan," she said softly.
The dragon stirred beside her...
He was injured, his left wing still wrapped in enchanted bandages, his scales dulled from earlier battles. But his eyes were filled with loyalty.
"Go," Raze commanded. "But no vaporizing. We need the bodies intact. The system won’t process loot if there’s nothing left."
Roan nodded...
Then, with a heavy beat of his wings, he launched into the air, gliding low over the battlefield. Instead of his usual flame breath, he used tail sweeps, claw strikes, and controlled bursts of wind to knock the pigs off balance.
Soldiers surged forward alongside him.
Many of them still had plenty of Spirit Points reserves and were able to use their various Survivor Skills...
Surprisingly, even the manor’s stewards joined in, wielding enchanted brooms and kitchen knives as they heard about the Pork Meat drop.
They may not be able to loot them but still, they could just let the Foreign Survivors do the tedious process of looting them later...
Just like that, the courtyard became a coordinated sweep.
Roan landed in the center, spinning with his tail while his claws sliced through pigs without obliterating them. Each kill left a body, and each body meant loot.
Raze watched from above as she allowed the others to get these easy kills for their own sake...

Back at Eclipse Domain, the battlefield was still flooded with Zombie Pigs.
Then, after a few moments, Cloud updated Shane about the progress of the event...
[ Time Remaining: 10 minutes ]
[ Estimated Zombie Pig Count in the vicinity: 6,000+ ]
[ Final Phase Recommendation: Area-wide bombardment authorized ]
"Alright... Let’s start with the bombardment... But we will have trouble looting them if they get pulverized. We can’t just drop bombs on them." Shane reminded.
Cloud responded immediately.
[ Adjusting bombardment sequence... ]
[ Deploying Type-3 Suppression Pods. Non-lethal kinetic payloads calibrated for low-tier targets ]
[ Estimated kill efficiency: 92% ]
[ Corpse integrity: Preserved ]
"I like that... Try it out, Cloud."
Above the Eclipse Domain, the Floating Fortress shifted position.
Its underside opened, not to release explosive shells, but to deploy dozens of sleek, cylindrical pods.
Whoosh~ Whoosh~
They dropped silently, trailing faint blue vapor.
Upon impact, each pod released a shockwave...
It was low-frequency, wide-radius, and precisely tuned. The Zombie Pigs within range collapsed instantly. No fire. No disintegration. Just clean, synchronized takedowns.
Apparently, these pods had the same principle as the Arc-Spike Javelins and Neuroflash Detonators!
As soon as thousands of Zombie Pigs collapsed from afar, the survivors cheered.
Shane grinned.
"Perfect. That’s how you farm with style."
He dashed forward, eliminating as many Zombie Pigs as he could.
Behind him, squads moved in formation, looting efficiently. Even the mechs joined in, using magnetic claws to drag corpses into designated loot zones.
"Haha! Clean them up!" Shane laughed as he saw that thousands of pigs were waiting to be looted!
Then, Cloud updated the tactical feed.
[ Time Remaining: 7 minutes ]
[ Zombie Pig Count: 4,800+ ]
[ Suppression Pods: 45% deployed ]
[ Recommendation: Maintain engagement. Optimize looting routes. ]
Soon, the Floating Fortress continued its silent sweep, dropping the rest of the pods, clearing the field, and preserving every last corpse for the survivors below.
