CHAPTER 29: CHAPTER 28: HELL NO!
"I was hoping you’d cooperate," the doctor said. "It would have made things easier for you, but no matter. I can do it myself."
The doctor thought Zaen would panic, instead, he was as calm as ever. The little interrogation session with Johann had already pissed him off, and this fucking doctor was just testing the limits of his patience now.
"You got exactly three seconds to get off before I forget you’re a woman," Zaen said calmly.
"Oh? What’ll happen then?"
"I’ll show you my version of equality, that’s what."
Zaen’s words seemed to set her off. She grabbed his wrist and shoved him down so hard that the strap of the walking stick around his wrist snapped and fell. Just like that, everything went dark for Zaen.
Fuck!
However, Doctor Ann wasn’t done. She grabbed both his hands and pulled them over his head while her legs straddled his waist.
"Why don’t you show me what you were about to?" she scoffed, her face inches above his.
She was breathing hard as if struggling to control herself, and Zaen could feel all of it. The situation was one where no proper man would enjoy himself, yet the feeling of her body on top of his made him think of thoughts he shouldn’t have.
Not to mention, it seemed like all strength had left his body. Like, literally the moment she got hold of his hands, he couldn’t push her off himself.
[Strength: 6.5 (Sealed)]
Sealed? What the hell does that mean?
"What? You’re already out of words?"
Out of words? Not at all, it’s just that I know things will get worse the moment I turn my attention away from calming myself down.
Zaen had often heard people say that when a human lost one sense, the other senses turned hyperactive to compensate for it. He already had a taste of it during his perception trial.
That’s why when the Doctor’s touch and warm breath fell on his overly sensitive skin, he had to focus entirely on calming himself down.
Unfortunately, it was all in vain.
"Oh? Was it you?" Ann asked, looking down at her waist.
Yes, dumb bitch, it’s me. It wouldn’t have been me if you didn’t keep grinding your ass against me!
Never in a million years did Zaen think he’d end up in such a position. He thought the F.O.R.C.E. was a serious organization formed to deal with serious issues. He didn’t think they were a bunch of depraved sadists itching to toy with him.
Ann took his erection as a sign of agreement instead of a natural reaction and reached for it, but the next second, the locked door was kicked open. Both of them snapped toward the door, but only Ann could see the muscular woman with a bionic arm casually walking in.
"You never learn, do you?" the woman asked.
Surprisingly, her voice was much sweeter and high-pitched than one would expect the woman to have, given her Herculean build.
"H-Hey, don’t interrupt me, Jenna! Captain Johann—" Ann said, immediately raising her arms in surrender.
The moment Zaen’s hands were freed, his strength returned to him, and without a shred of hesitation, he threw a punch aimed at Ann’s midsection. Since she was still on top of him, it was the only place the ’blind’ him could go for.
However, the other woman grabbed his wrist, surprising even Zaen.
"I know you’re angry, and it’s justified," Jenna, the new woman, said, handing him the walking stick. "But let me handle this."
Zaen grabbed the stick and was shocked to see the seven-foot-tall woman’s muscular silhouette. Her long, wavy red hair, coupled with her Amazon-like figure, reminded him of a certain green-skinned, gamma-pumped woman.
Wait... what’s that patch on her face? Is that an eye-patch?
While he was gawking at Jenna, she turned her attention to Ann and grabbed her by her ponytail.
"How many times do I have to tell you to stop harassing people?" Jenna asked.
"Argh! Take your hands off me, bitch!"
Ann screamed and began kicking around. She even grabbed Jenna’s wrist, but unlike Zaen, it didn’t seem the woman’s strength was drained at all. It was either that, or that Jenna was simply too strong to care about the siphoning of attributes.
"What did you call me?" Jenna asked as a crooked smile appeared on her face. Ann’s words seemed to have hit a nerve.
However, before Ann could reply, Jenna backhanded her across the face. The hit was enough to give her a bloody lip as she tumbled down from the examining bed.
Jenna wasn’t done as she pressed her foot on Ann’s head.
"Just because a cute guy showed up, you forgot all the rules and regulations of the organization?"
"H-He wasn’t cooperating!" Ann yelled back. "Captain Johann instructed me to get his sample to check for abilities and also for the Phoenix project, you dumb gorilla!"
Suddenly, all bravado disappeared from Jenna’s face as she lifted her leg.
"...I’ll have to confirm this," she said. "But even if that was the case, you can’t just go around forcing people like that!"
"The document is on the desk! Check for yourself!"
As Jenna left, Ann got back to her feet, but made no moves on Zaen. It seemed she was too pissed off at Jenna to care about him anymore.
"What were you even doing here?" she asked. "It’s not like you have an appointment today."
"Captain asked me to fetch the boy since it was taking too long," Jenna replied while she read the document Ann had mentioned. "It seems you were telling the truth... I would like to apologize—"
"Then do it on your knees—"
"Don’t push your luck," Jenna cut her off.
Meanwhile, Zaen didn’t know what the hell was even going on anymore. The only thing he could infer from their conversation was that they needed his ’liquids’ to check if the abilities he had told Johann about were true, or if he was hiding something else.
That and the thing they referred to as the Phoenix Project.
His thoughts were suddenly interrupted when Jenna turned to him.
"Um... it’s awkward, but can you give the sample willingly? It would help us a ton. If you say no, then there’s nothing we can do about it—"
"Hell no!"
