CHAPTER 7: STAGE CLEARED, NEXT! [2]

"Okay, this one might be more dangerous. I have to be careful," Pierre said and ordered his status to be displayed.

Possessing 0.5 stat points, he put it all in his luck, raising it from 1.0 to 1.5.

Pierre considered visiting the love shop but decided against it.

"I’ll keep my love points for now until I learn more about the target. Now..."

He got up from the bed and went to the wardrobe; a different set of options appeared before him compared to last time.

Pierre scanned through and laughed while looking at the third option, muttering, "This is that faggot’s style, haha~"

"This bastard..." Roy’s eyes twitched. Who else was Pierre talking about if not him?

Pierre chose option A, considering the nature of the target, and left home.

For Roy, however, the scenes that followed happened in a rush.

[Day 1: You arrive at school, but your gothic, loner, dark, and edgy appearance keeps other students away from you. You spot Hanabira Reina sitting at the back of the class, looking all gloomy.

At lunch break, other loner nerds come to try talking to you, but you told them you’re not like them and they should fuck off.]

[Day 2: You stare at Hanabira Reina constantly, but she never notices. She doesn’t think anyone even notices her.]

[Day 4: At lunch break, the class bully comes up to you, but you tell him off. This act of yours reminds you of how you treated someone else’s, and you feel a bit saddened.

After school, the class bully beats you to a pulp and takes all your cash.]

"H-Hi... I’m Pierre Dubois," he introduced himself according to character.

Hanabira Reina’s eyes lit up ever since he entered, and she ran to him and grabbed his shoulders, "Do you want to join the Occult Club?! Heh-heh~"

’Ugh, so creepy.’ Pierre smiled sheepishly, feeling a bit uncomfortable by her invasion of his private space. "Y-Yes," he said and looked away.

"Amazing... heh-heh~" Hanabira Reina, her long purple hair covering most of her face, laughed and said, "Welcome. I’m Hanabira Reina. President of the Occult Club."

The other two club members introduced themselves too, and Reina voiced, "Heh... P-Pierre-san... why did you want to join the Occult Club? What do you know about the Occult?"

Pierre scratched the back of his head and looked away, his black covering half of his face in a swoop. He shyly voiced, "Uh... this is quite embarrassing. I don’t know much. B-But, I joined because of you, Reina-san. I-I think I like you, you see..."

"..." Hanabira Reina froze for a few seconds, her cheeks flushing beneath her hair-covered face.

The other two members had their mouths wide agape.

"T-That’s fine. L-Let’s proceed with the meeting..."

Roy nodded in approval. Pierre didn’t even use his active skill to get such a result.

’I’ve gotta admit. He’s quite capable... what a bastard!’

He hissed.

[Day 9: Hanabira Reina keeps glancing at you. You notice her once and smile, and she smiles back.]

[Day 11: At lunch break, Hanabira Reina is being bullied by the other girls in the class. They are calling her a weirdo and hurling curses at her in a manner she can hear. You do nothing.]

[Day 12: You poison the three bullies’ meals with laxatives when no one was looking.

After lunch break, everyone wonders why the three girls are running out of the class one by one without taking permission from the teacher. Hanabira Reina glances at you, and you wink at her. She blushes and looks away.]

[Day 15: Before classes begin, Hanabira Reina meets her desk vandalized. Silently, she cleans her desk. The three girl bullies laugh at her discreetly.

This angers you greatly. You walk up to one of them, grab her by the collar, and threaten to hurt her with demonic methods if she ever disturbs Reina again. Your bully walks up to you, and you two enter a fight. You were beaten to a pulp.]

"Hm, Pierre seems to take this one more seriously than he did the previous one," Roy said. He couldn’t figure out why it was so.

Once again, everything went blank before Pierre’s eyes, and the pink-themed panel appeared before him.

"Yes!" Pierre voiced. He had just cleared two levels in a row.

"Wow, this level was quite quick. Is it because he increased his luck?" Roy wondered.

A few seconds later, it was already time for the next stage.

Pierre woke up in his bed once again and was greeted with the pink-themed set of information, read by the enthusiastic feminine voice.
