Lin Ye pushed open the door to find the corridor filled with numerous jellyfish-like monsters floating around. They drifted near the wards, attempting to enter and devour the patients inside.

"No, only those with identity cards may enter."

The other orderly stated.

Lin Ye swung his fishing rod, slicing through one orderly's neck. But instead of falling, the orderly turned his neck toward Lin Ye, attempting to spray blood on him.

"Die if you don't have an identity card!"

The orderly's body began to swell and expand, his skin tearing as a flesh-and-blood monster ripped out from inside.

"You're spraying too much blood."

Lin Ye used his Blood Burning skill while controlling the blood's flow direction.

The burning blood reversed course, igniting the flesh monster's bloated body. Under Lin Ye's control, it burned like a torch until completely charred.

Beyond the decontamination passage lay the materials zone. Lin Ye passed by glass cell after glass cell, the patients inside emitting silent wails—the soundproofing of the glass cells was excellent.

Little Qi watched the patients growing various abnormal tissues while struggling painfully on their beds, her heart aching. She wanted to help them but didn't know how.
