The sudden update—with seven... six changes all at once—left everyone using the Magic Net stunned for a moment. Such huge changes?!

Since they’d gotten the Magic Net until now, they’d never seen such massive changes. But looking closer, they realized most of it was about ’images.’ The Magic Net could now take photos to get images, which could then be used in Magic Space, chat, Magic Encyclopedia, Magic Know, and tons of other features. The more unique additions were the voice chat feature in messaging and the comment and share features in music.

Besides that, there was a new ’Video’ feature! You could say this was the only actual new feature added.

But right now, nobody was thinking about all that, because most of the features they were using had changed.

"I suspect you just took a photo of something captured with image capture magic and then uploaded it. It’s probably still fake. There’s absolutely no way anyone could actually survive in an environment like that!!! Just because there’s an image doesn’t mean it’s real! It could still be fake."

"I just had a bold idea. What if I randomly pick a city, drop a Meteor Fire Rain on it, take a photo, and upload it to Magic Encyclopedia? Would I get more views and citations? Would I get more points?"

The entire Magic Space exploded at once. People were sending images everywhere, exploring all the new features. Places like ’noble fashion forum,’ ’pet forum,’ and ’food forum’ were especially lively, with everyone sharing their precious treasures for fellow enthusiasts to see.

But after images could be shared, disputes between them seemed to increase too. Back when they could only communicate through text, descriptions of favorite clothes, pets, food, and other things were just words, and people filled in the blanks themselves. When you fill in the blanks, naturally most of the time you imagine something you like. But when they actually saw the real thing, that feeling—with such a huge difference—they inevitably felt it was nowhere near their imagination. Plus with the anonymous system, naturally they’d be even more unrestrained in their critiques...

Of course, even so, it didn’t affect people’s love for the new features at all.

In the Church of Technology group chat.

Lucina sent a photo to the group chat: "@Wandering Wild Mage This is the artillery tractor I mentioned before that’s having problems. Take a look and see what’s wrong with it."

"It’s just one rune that’s messed up." The Wild Mage was really good at picking up these new things. He quickly figured out how to use the various image-related features, directly downloaded the image Wolf General Lucina had sent, circled it with the drawing tool, sent it back out, and quickly explained how to fix it.

"By the way, have you guys used that new feature? I’ve just been reading the description and I’m kinda confused." Lucina asked again.

At almost the same time, in many group chats, very similar topics were happening. But the voice feature didn’t seem too popular—not many people were using it.

Of course, this might just be a matter of habit. Recently, everyone had gotten used to communicating with text. Suddenly being able to just talk and leave messages felt a bit awkward. Talking to the Magic Net felt kinda weird too.
