CHAPTER 151: END OF THE SECOND DAY

Ken was confused. He could feel that no mana was being utilized in any of Gabriel’s attacks, so why did it feel as if he was using some type of movement skill that left afterimages in his wake?

"Fucking monster!" was the only thing that came out of his mouth.

After witnessing this, Ken realized he needed to take out Gabriel here and now. If not, once Gabriel grew stronger and retaliated, there would no longer be a Crimson Star guild!

"Don’t stop firing!" he roared, his arm recoiling from the relentless shooting as a storm of bullets rained down across the battlefield, even striking a few adventurers.

No matter how high-level Gunslingers were, they lacked considerably when it came to direct combat. Their only strength was in the firearms they possessed.

As such, whenever a mage or warrior closed the distance between them, they were done for.

Like a blur, Gabriel’s body flickered between the bullets, his Guard Robe and Iron Body soaking up what little got through.

The few shots that slipped past were stopped entirely. Crimson Judgement cut arcs of crimson light, every swing ending in screams—arms flying, heads severed, blood mist spraying into the air.

"Impossible!" IceQueen’s eyes widened in shock. "He said he had no mana!"

Alice appeared beside her in the middle of the chaos, dagger dripping with blood. "He doesn’t need mana to kill trash like you."

"You bitch—!" IceQueen snapped, summoning a hail of ice shards and blasting them forward.

Alice twisted and disappeared again, reappearing behind a ChaosKnight mage, her blade sinking into the back of his neck.

Meanwhile, Ragnarok99 roared like a berserker, his massive frame smashing into the frontlines. Each swing of his axe sent players flying like ragdolls. "COME AT ME, YOU COWARDS!"

The battlefield descended into madness. Crimson Star gunners fired relentlessly, ChaosKnight players charged like a tidal wave, yet they were wiped out in seconds by the NPCs, who were far more powerful and experienced.

Back in the studio, Noel’s voice rose. "Ladies and gentlemen, look at this! Sir Broken—he’s cutting through their ranks like paper!"

"Didn’t I tell you?" Doodle laughed, slamming his hand on the desk. "This ain’t even a fight! Crimson Star thought numbers would save them—WRONG! ChaosKnight thought they could ambush him—WRONG AGAIN! They’re all feeding him points!"

On the battlefield, Ken’s expression distorted. He clenched his gun tighter, sweat dripping down his temple.

"Damn it, he’s stronger than I thought." His gaze swept across the battlefield, realizing dozens of his men had already fallen. Others were being slaughtered like sheep.

"I need... I need to ru—"

Before he could finish, Gabriel appeared in front of him, greatsword raised.

Ken’s pupils shrank.

Crimson Judgement slashed downward, the glowing edge reflecting in his eyes.

It was the last thing he saw before darkness swallowed his view.

Back in the Crimson Star base, Lilith crushed her wine glass in her grasp as she glared at the screen with burning hatred.

On it, the headless body of the vice leader sprawled across the battlefield. Lilith’s glare only grew darker as she replayed the footage again and again.

---

Back in the wilderness, Gabriel turned his attention to the battlefield, noting that only a handful of Crimson Star members remained.

When they realized their vice leader had been killed, panic instantly spread through the ranks.

"Vice leader Ken is dead?!"

"No way! That monster killed him like nothing!"

"Shit!"

"I’m out of here!"

"Retreat! Retreat now!"

Some dropped their weapons outright. Others turned tail and sprinted without looking back.

Of course, Gabriel ordered no one to give chase. It wasn’t worth it. Instead, they shifted their focus toward ChaosKnight.

The remnants of ChaosKnight trembled like leaves in the wind, their faces pale.

At the back, ChaosCleric kept muttering under his breath.

’I knew it! I knew this would happen, fuck this!’ He repeated the words like a broken tape, barely dodging an attack from one of the NPCs.

Meanwhile, IceQueen was slowly approaching Gabriel.

’One hit! I just need to get one hit, then brother will have no excuse not to join the game,’ she thought inwardly.

The goal of this ambush was never to kill him, though a part of her wanted that as well.

Her eyes locked onto Gabriel, burning with obsession, as she flicked her wrist.

BOOM!

A giant dome of ice exploded outward from her position, shards shooting into the air before raining down like spears.

Gabriel lifted Crimson Judgement and smashed straight through the falling ice with a single swing, shattering every spear that came close.

With one mighty stomp, he appeared in front of IceQueen, cutting her down in a single slash.

"Fuck, I failed yet again!" was the last thing that crossed her mind before she dissolved into data.

With IceQueen gone, and most of ChaosKnight already in shambles, it was a walk in the park for the Adventurer Guild. The game was still in its early stages, and most players weren’t even level 20.

Before long, the battlefield was cleared—every player dead.

"And that takes care of them." Alice exhaled as she pulled out a health potion and downed it.

Gabriel knew there was no time to rest. He quickly instructed Anna to locate the bodies of the three goblin generals—and Ken’s corpse—for him.

Anna smirked and immediately went to work without a single question.

"Search through them and take anything valuable!"

"Yes, sir!"

At Gabriel’s words, the members of the Adventurer Guild moved at once. From the corpses of Crimson Star they collected dozens of mana guns, potions, and other treasures.

While they searched the bodies, Gabriel heard movement and quickly turned toward the sound.

Contrary to his expectations, it wasn’t enemies.

It was the other Adventurer Guild squad—led by Scarlet.

As if on cue, a loud announcement boomed across the wilderness, marking the end of the second day.

And in the air, the official rankings appeared...
