God-Tier Extraction Talent: Reincarnated in a Game-like World!
Chapter 153: Ken’s Memory Fragments
CHAPTER 153: KEN’S MEMORY FRAGMENTS
Just like before, the tent was luxurious and lit up. There weren’t many of these—only a few, reserved for the elite members of the Adventurer Guild.
Right now, Gabriel stood before four corpses: the goblin generals Blurka, Thrixia, and Throg, along with the vice leader of the Crimson Star guild, Ken.
Looking at Ken, he realized that this could be him if he didn’t grow powerful enough.
’Unlike the players, there’s no respawn for NPCs.’ This was like a mantra he repeated to himself every time it crossed his mind.
Of course, Gabriel didn’t feel remorseful for what he did.
If there was another chance, he would gladly do it all over again.
Before proceeding with corpse extraction, he first took a glance at his EP points.
[EP: 900]
Seeing the whopping number of extraction points, which was close to a thousand, Gabriel wasn’t shocked. After all, he had single-handedly taken down four powerhouses and slaughtered hundreds of goblins.
If he had gotten any lower than this, he would have been pissed off and disappointed.
Still, that didn’t mean he wasn’t excited.
"Okay, let’s do this." He cracked his knuckles and moved closer to the first corpse, which belonged to Throg.
[Ding! You have extracted +20 Strength]
Despite Throg’s level, the other options were underwhelming compared to the +20 attribute boost.
’If I was to go through the leveling process, it would take me at least four level-ups to get this amount of stats.’
After choosing the stats, he immediately felt a surge of strength flow through his veins.
He didn’t need to test it to know he had once again grown stronger.
Next up, he moved toward the corpse of Ken.
[Would you like to extract Level 86 Awakened? Cost: 44 EP]
"Yes."

[Gun Pouch]
[Basic Mana Gun Blueprint]
[Incomplete Memory Fragments]
Gabriel paused when he saw the last option.
"Memory fragments?" He stared at the option on the system screen, his brows knitting. ’This is new...’
Up until now, every extraction had given him either raw stats, skills, or items. Never once had he seen something like this.
At first, Gabriel wanted to ignore it and go for something like the mana gun blueprint.
But then he remembered—he was now an enemy of Crimson Star. He wasn’t clueless. He knew that even if he created his own guild now, Lilith would never magically forgive him.
’Knowing the enemy is half the battle won... was that how they said it?’ he thought, and without hesitation, he selected the last option.
Following a burst of purple light, a crystal orb materialized in his grasp. Narrowing his eyes, he studied it. Moments later, a notification popped up in his retina.
[Absorb the orb to play memory; duration: 24 hours]
’That long? I guess I’ll keep it for later on.’ He placed the orb away and moved toward Blurka.

[Goblin Hide]
[Agility +20]
[Charming Gaze (Elite)]
Gabriel’s gaze alternated between Agility +20 and Charming Gaze.
’Another big stat boost... but this skill might be useful in unexpected ways,’ he thought, eyes narrowing. Charming Gaze wasn’t a combat skill per se, but in the right situation, it could save his life.
Even though he couldn’t learn it now, he could always keep it for later.
[Charming Gaze LV.1]
[Rarity: Elite]
[Description: Locks eyes with the target. Slight chance to charm or daze enemies with lower Intelligence stats than the user for a short duration. Cooldown: 60 seconds]
"It scales with Intelligence stats, huh."
That meant even if the enemy was stronger than him, the skill would still be effective.
Gabriel already had plans to increase his Intelligence. Even though he had survived his battles, he didn’t like the feeling of running out of mana midway.
Now that it could also influence Charming Gaze, he had even more reason to invest in the stat.
Fortunately for him, he had 20 free attribute points.
He quickly allocated all 20 into Intelligence, raising it to 159, and his total mana pool to 1590.
The next corpse provided similar options to Blurka, with Charming Gaze and +20 Agility. This time, Gabriel selected the +20 Agility.
Once he was done with the corpses, Anna—who had left the room earlier—returned to clean it up.
Meanwhile, Gabriel checked his current progress.

While he was reviewing his progress, out on the battlefield where Gabriel had slain the three goblin generals and Ken of Crimson Star, a figure moved quietly from corpse to corpse.
The figure seemed to be searching for something—or someone—flipping over body after body.
They continued for roughly twenty minutes before finally giving up.
Moments later, a crimson circle lit up beneath their feet, and they vanished as if they had never been there in the first place.
