CHAPTER 167: SWAMP VILLAGE DUNGEON

Inside the unclassified dungeons, everyone held their breath as the circle of fins tightened. The water rippled and bubbled.

Gabriel quickly used his treasure on them, discovering that the weakest Swamp Fin Monster was already at Level 30!

And with a quick glance...

’There are at least 50 of them.’ Gabriel deduced, eyes flashing sharply.

Finding this many monsters—especially high-level ones—would normally have excited him, but the current terrain didn’t favor them at all.

The NPCs were tense. However, for the likes of BrawlerX and Ragnarok99, who were hardcore gamers, they were very excited!

Seeing them, Brunt couldn’t help but roll his eyes, a tinge of jealousy flashing across them.

"Everyone, form up!" Scarlet ordered, noticing the fins drawing closer. "If they come together, we’ll be dragged under!"

BOOM!

The moment she shouted, a massive wave exploded upward. Two Swamp Fin Monsters launched simultaneously, jaws snapping open toward Brunt and Sophie.

"Silver Bell!" Sophie cried, her silver bell flashing into a glowing shield. One fin smashed against it, shattering the barrier instantly, but buying Gabriel just enough time to swing his greatsword and smash the monster right back into the water.

BOOOOM!

The beast reeled, spraying blood into the swamp.

On the other side, Alice leapt forward. With [Blink] activated, she vanished midair and reappeared above another monster, her daggers glowing faintly.

"Die already!"

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

-3,000!

-5,000 (Critical!)

-2,500!

The monster thrashed, but Alice clung to its head like a crazed shadow, stabbing until it sank back into the water.

The two monster attacks were the signal, and more Swamp Fin Monsters surged out of the swamp!

"Silver Moon Slash!"

At Scarlet’s words, a giant silver arc exploded out of her blade, cleaving two Swamp Fin Monsters in half.

Quickly channeling strength into her legs, the swordswoman lunged at the next closest monster, engaging it in combat.

Meanwhile, Gabriel landed back in the water with a splash.

But he didn’t stand idly—instead, he followed with yet another attack!

"Vicious Pounce!"

Coupled with his natural stats, his speed and strength skyrocketed. He lunged forward, cutting through the water as if it were air.

One swing—BOOOOM!

-15,000 (Fatal Hit!!)

A Swamp Fin Monster was cleaved clean in half!

Seeing this sight, those in the studio erupted into deafening cheers.

Doodle slammed his desk so hard the mic shook. "HAHAHAHA, THAT’S OUR SIR BROKEN!!! He doesn’t care about terrain, doesn’t care about numbers—HE’S A HUMAN STORM!!!"

Noel exhaled sharply. "It’s reckless, but... it might be the only way. If they hesitate here, they’ll all be wiped out."

Apart from Gabriel, Scarlet, and Alice—thanks to her [Blink] skill—the rest of the adventurers could barely put up a fight.

"Makes you wonder how they’re even doing this?" Cassie muttered, brows tightening in a frown.

Sophie, meanwhile, felt frustrated and annoyed that she could only fight from one spot.

Suddenly, the swamp rumbled again. This time, two fins shot up at once, heading straight for where Cassie and Sophie were standing.

Both women’s eyes shrank in shock. Instinctively, they activated their movement-type skills to get away as quickly as they could.

However, they realized even with their skills, they could hardly escape.

Before the swamp monsters reached them, Gabriel activated [Burrow Shift], appearing right in front of the two beasts. His greatsword flashed.

CRASHHHH!

All three monsters were slashed in a single swing, blood splattering across the swamp.

Sophie’s eyes widened, her heart beating fast as she watched the powerful back of her savior.

’...Gabriel...’

Alice landed beside them, hair dripping wet. Seeing Sophie’s lovey-dovey expression, the assassin couldn’t help but sneer. "Show-off, I was just about to take care of them."

"Calm down, brat. The monsters don’t belong to anyone." Gabriel clicked his tongue, then jumped out of the river toward another beast with reckless abandon.

Alice watched him go with eyes burning with anger. "Annoying jerk!"

Bunny’s camera shook violently as another fin crashed just meters from her. She squealed but quickly steadied the stream, her face pale yet glowing with excitement.

"Viewers, this is insane! We’re surrounded by... like... ten of these things! But Gabriel’s literally cutting them down like a madman! If I die here, at least I’ll go viral!"

The comment section exploded so fast the text blurred:

[HAHAHA BUNNY POV IS GOLD]

[Sir Broken is carrying Agaia!!]

[10m VIEWERS LET’S GOOOOOOOOOO!!!]

[30 MILLION VIEWERS BY THE END OF THIS RAID!!!]

[SOMEONE PUT THIS ON REAL-WORLD NEWS!!]

[Somebody clip that triple slash!!]

Bunny caught one of the comments and couldn’t help but shift her gaze to the top of her screen.

Her eyes widened at what she saw.

[LIVE VIEWERS: 4.2M → 7.6M → 12.1M → 14.9M → 17.1M]

Her numbers were skyrocketing, increasing by the second as more and more viewers logged in.

"And all of them..." She paused, grimacing as she looked at the distance where Sir Broken was battling the swamp monsters. "They... they all came to watch him!"

It was at this moment that Bunny realized how much she had underestimated Sir Broken’s fame and influence.

"The game hasn’t even been out for a month yet... and yet!" She was speechless.

Right outside the dungeon.

Gary was sweating bullets, watching everything play out, though he tried to put on a brave face.

At that moment, Jack casually clapped his hands together once.

"So here’s how it’s going to work," he announced. "Either you people slaughter each other and leave the scraps for us..." His grin sharpened, a dangerous light flashing in his eyes. "Or we’ll slaughter both of you and take the points directly."

The viewing center erupted into chaos again, the announcer nearly screaming into her microphone.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?! THE HOLY CHURCH AND THE ADVENTURER GUILD WERE ABOUT TO CLASH — BUT NOW OLYMPUS HAS ARRIVED!!!"

"This is insane! A three-way guild showdown at the final dungeon!"

"Jack Arefield and Aria have entered the battlefield!!!"

On the battlefield, Alofonso’s eyes narrowed, and the adventurers raised their weapons with trembling hands.

But the members of Olympus Guild remained calm, as if they were simply there to enjoy themselves.

The wilderness itself seemed to tremble as the three titans of the event prepared to collide.
