God-Tier Extraction Talent: Reincarnated in a Game-like World!
Chapter 218: Birth of Broken Dawn
CHAPTER 218: BIRTH OF BROKEN DAWN
When this particular group of players heard what Gabriel said, they were shocked. Never did they expect to casually meet Sir Broken—the current most famous person in the world.
To make things even more unbelievable, he asked them to join his guild!
By now, all the players had heard about Gabriel’s ambition to start his own guild, and many were hoping to apply. But knowing the kind of person Sir Broken was, they thought there would be some strict process to weed out the talentless bunch.
"We will be pleased if you accept us into your guild!"
The three echoed passionately at once, their voices loud enough to attract the gaze of others nearby, including players.
"Wait—is that Sir Broken?"
"It’s him! It looks like he’s recruiting those players!"
The shout of the three spread quickly, drawing in others roaming the street. Everyone had been on the lookout for when Gabriel would finally create his guild.
Hearing such a commotion, it was easy for players to put two and two together. They immediately realized what was happening today.
As if a floodgate had burst open, hundreds of players rushed toward Gabriel, their chaotic voices drowning the entire district where the Adventurer Guild was located.
"Take me in, Sir Broken!"
"I’ll fight for you! I’ll work harder than anyone!"
"Sir Broken! Pick me, pick me!"
"Just one chance, that’s all I ask!"
"Sir Brokennnnnnn!!!"
Gabriel turned to see a sea of players rushing toward him like a dam released from a great flood.
He frowned. Right now, he didn’t need such a crowd. Many of them could belong to enemy factions. He would need to properly screen them before accepting anyone into his guild.
"Halt!" Gabriel’s grim and authoritative voice thundered out. A swarm of players skidded to a stop, their eager eyes fixed on the red-haired figure.
With a single word, he had silenced hundreds of players. The NPCs watching were surprised. Though some knew Gabriel was influential thanks to the Inter-Guild Display, to hold such authority over so many players was something not even the leaders of the Big Five guilds could achieve.
Above, in her office, Scarlet watched with folded arms pressed against her generous chest, her expression unreadable.
Lily, her assistant and best friend, couldn’t help but comment with admiration. "It seems forming that alliance wasn’t such a bad idea. The otherworlders love him—we can always exploit this in the future."
Scarlet nodded slightly, her gaze never leaving Gabriel.
In the real world, the current event was being broadcast with the caption: The Birth of a New Guild!
Millions of eyes were glued to their screens, eager to witness the creation of what many predicted would be the most powerful guild.
Meanwhile, within the game, the noise quieted down completely. It was so silent that even a cough would have echoed far and wide.
"Everyone will be properly evaluated before being accepted into the guild," Gabriel announced, his deep voice firm and commanding. "Until then, I won’t accept just anyone."
Immediately, whispers spread through the ranks of players. Some were dissatisfied, while the smarter ones understood and quietly withdrew.
After saying this, Gabriel gestured for the three players—whose names he never even bothered to check—to follow him. The crowd parted, allowing him to pass.
He approached the counter and began to fill out the guild registration form. The form mostly consisted of simple requirements—guild name, guild crest, and founder details.
Gabriel didn’t hurry. He knew the name was important.
’I can’t afford to use a weak name... I need something easy to remember, something that strikes fear into the hearts of my enemies.’
Fortunately, he already had something in mind. It was the same name he had used in his past life. Just like his own alias, which was suggested by his brother, this guild name was also suggested by someone very close to him.
’Broken Dawn!’
Gabriel wrote clearly without hesitation:
[Guild Name]: Broken Dawn
[Guild Leader]: Gabriel Reyes, Broken Heaven
[Guild Crest]: Crimson Sword Piercing a Rising Sun
After completing the form, a string of green text appeared before his eyes:
[Ding! Guild Creation Form Submitted.]
[Processing...]
[Congratulations! Guild: Broken Dawn has been officially registered in the Adventurer Guild Registry.]
[Guild Base: Nameless Camp]
Following this, his system chimed again—this time, it wasn’t just for him, but for the entire server.
[World Announcement!]
[Guild Broken Dawn has been created by Sir Broken!]
[Type: Combat-Oriented Elite Guild]
[Founder: Gabriel Reyes / Broken Heaven!]
Across the game world, players looked up at the sky where the world announcement was boldly displayed.
Their reactions varied. Some were excited for the future, while others were wary—and a few even fearful.
"It’s official!"
"Sir Broken’s guild has been born!"
"This will shake the entire game world!"
"Where’s the sign-up? I can’t wait to join and fight alongside him!"
One group that was neither happy nor excited was the ChaosKnight Guild.
Upon seeing the notification, IceQueen’s expression darkened, her aura plummeting as the ground around her froze over.
ChaosCleric beside her trembled, not daring to take his eyes off the announcement in the sky. Previously, he had joked about leaving the ChaosKnight Guild. But with this development, he was seriously considering resigning from his post.
Still, it wouldn’t be easy. IceQueen would make sure his life became miserable in both the game and the real world.
"With his insane influence, the majority of players will join him. He doesn’t even need to hold recruitment campaigns—they’ll flock to him willingly," ChaosCleric muttered, his voice carrying to everyone nearby, including IceQueen, whose expression twitched.
"Our guild will be at a huge disadvantage," IceQueen said seriously. Then the corner of her lips curled upward. "But I’m sure he won’t last long—not now that the bug fixers have begun their work."
"Bug fixers?" ChaosKnight members were puzzled when they heard this and subconsciously turned toward her for answers.
