CHAPTER 333: CHAMPION RANK VAMPIRE KNIGHTS

"What now?" Sophie asked in a quiet voice.

He didn’t spare her a glance or a reply. His gaze remained fixed ahead at the throne. There was quite the distance between them.

They were currently standing at the start of the red rug, and it appeared to be over fifty meters long, with the throne placed at the very end.

"We fight." His eyes flashed.

Sophie frowned slightly, unease creeping in.

Sensing her mood, he asked, "What is it?"

During the ruin exploration and the time spent in the tower, he had realized she was very intelligent. Her suggestions and prior knowledge about vampires were some of the reasons they had advanced this far.

"From what I’ve noticed so far, the higher we climb, the more intelligent the vampires become," she said softly, adjusting her glasses.

He narrowed his eyes slightly. He had noticed this too.

"So how about we do this?" She turned toward him. "Let’s try negotiating first..."

Negotiate... that would save them the hassle of fighting, but what exactly did they have to convince the boss of this floor?

When he asked this, Sophie fell into deep silence, racking her brains for something—anything—that could appeal to the boss.

Right at that moment, while they were lost in thought, there was slight movement near the throne area.

All eyes snapped toward that direction instantly.

From behind the throne, three figures stepped out.

The group flinched back, activating their skills and gripping their weapons tightly.

’Those three... they look exactly like the vision.’ He tightened his grip around Crimson Judgement.

They moved with measured steps, one at a time like machines. Even through their helmets, the crimson bloodlust in their eyes was unmistakable.

As soon as he saw the bold text floating above each knight’s head, his scalp tingled. His arms trembled uncontrollably. He stood rooted to the spot—not because he didn’t want to move, but because he was too stunned to.

"Holy fuck!" Ragnarok99 exclaimed, feeling a cold chill run down his spine.

"Those... those are two Champion Ranks and one Hero rank..." Bunny stuttered, her expression pale as though all the blood had drained from her.

Sophie was too stunned to speak. She looked at him, then at his sword arm, which trembled faintly.

’I knew he’s strong but...’ She clenched the hem of her gown. ’Not even he could fight all of them at once.’

Outside the tower, viewers had clearly seen the levels of the three knights, and a ripple of shock spread across the spectators.

"Champion Rank..." Scarlet murmured, her voice filled with shock—a stark contrast to her usual cold, calm exterior.

Beside her, both Alice and Lily were reeling in disbelief.

"The power difference between Hero Rank and Champion Rank is like heaven and earth. Gabriel... even though he’s powerful, he isn’t even Hero Rank yet. How would he..." Alice muttered aloud.

Liang was at a complete loss for words. He simply stood there wondering how Broken Dawn would escape this calamity.

"Maybe not being able to reach level 100 was a blessing in disguise," Jack smirked. He subconsciously imagined himself in Gabriel’s place and immediately felt cold sweat.

With all three attacking at once, his death would be swift and painful.

On the roof of a nearby building, Ares sighed when he saw the three vampires appear.

"What a shame," he thought. "This kid would have been a great addition to my guild... such a pity he’ll die here."

Then another thought struck him...

How would he, a Champion Rank and one of the strongest in the Valerian Kingdom, fare if he encountered these three?

He might survive—but winning? He strongly doubted it unless he used his strongest treasure. Even escaping would be difficult due to the vampires’ astonishing speed.

He looked again at the level numbers.

Level 150.

Level 130.

Level 180.

Three knights.

All guarding the throne.

He gulped loudly and turned to the camera with a stiff, terrified smile.

"If the three knights are this powerful... then how powerful is the boss?"
