God-Tier System: Kill Beasts, Cultivate Forever
Chapter 105: Entering The Cave
CHAPTER 105: ENTERING THE CAVE
The students were all in awe and shock, most of them knew Brian’s maniac behaviour but didn’t expect to see the death of his two subordinates who helped him manage the settlement till now.
"These were not the students, they were sent by the academy to bring chaos amongst us so the academy can have their best of students to pass." Brian’s voice echoed through the valley.
Unlike others he knew the working of academy closely. He had already found out their plan but he was just pushing it, one thing was sure that this fight was the necessity if they wanted to return.
So he just borrowed their mind to let it continue, but he wouldn’t bring them to fight who would run at the last moment.
"Don’t expect to turn back, nothing has changed. They may have been pawns of the academy but we also can’t avoid this fight.
They had said hundreds of lies but there is one truth, the most important one, only ten thousand students will pass. So try to kill others and Don’t die.
Don’t think of hiding, who will turn their back on the battle will die personally by my hands" Brian raised his voice with a playful tone.
All the faces paled hearing the revelation.
Brian could have kept them in the dark but he was looking beyond this battle. A smile was on his face thinking how some of these students will pass and retort against the academy.
And he was curious to see how academy elders would manage this ruckus. The best of the best students passed in the exam and many of them would become future leaders, the best potential will stood against the academy.
These were the student academy needed most and when they will revolt and refuse to join the academy or at worst harbouring ill intent towards those leaders which will be worse than not joining.
It was his way to pay back those academy leaders who wanted to control him.
Brian laughed, his laughter running through every student’s heart.
Currently the situation was locked, there were total four groups of students ready to fight. But everyone was hesitant to attack each other afraid that the other group would take advantage.
Everyone was on their toes, a day passed in anticipation.
Sylas was hoping that it keep postponing till gracie return.
Currently everyone was in colour of green, with the help of a utility elemental user they had dyed the colour of all the students costume to green to distinguish between freinds and foes.
Every group had unique identity to distinguish. A group had wooden collar on their neck. One had black stars on their face.
Brian didn’t use anything, and thats what became a way to identify.
The day was passing in silence, the tension was high. As the sun set everyone expected that the day will pass without any major event.
"Someone is approaching" A student informed stood on the watch tower.
Sylas looked ahead anticipating gracie to arrive, but it was different person.
"Brian, Brian... It’s Brian" Another student shouted recognising the person.
Sylas stood on the wall waited for him to come close.
"He is leader of the settlement in the east" Theron notified.
"Where is Tyler?" Sylas asked panicking but didn’t show any emotion on his face.
"I didn’t see him, i thought he left with gracie?" Theron asked surprised.
"No, only Gracie went alone, Okay! Find him.
No... Don’t leave stay with me" Sylas was panicking, he knew this guy had something in his aura that frightened him.
Approaching alone without any safety against a army of ten thousand students needs courage and confidence in oneself.
"Should we attack"
"I don’t think he is here to fight".
"How is it going?, wanna talk?" Brian shouted, his body language emitting true confidence.
As if he didn’t care whether they attack him or not.
"What is there to talk?"
"Upto you, those two groups had joined hands so I just thought you will feel comfortable fighting side by side with us" Brian said and turned back to leave.
"Stop him, we already don’t have a leader. We won’t survive the attack of combined army" Theron asked Sylas.
Sylas himself was in panic, it could be a trap but then they were really in a bad position. Firstly they were in middle of three armies, second gracie was missing. Which was great hit to their firepower.
He was in dilemma, if it was trap they would perish but if it wasn’t then they would also perish.
He can’t take such a big decision on behalf of all the students.
"Wait, we can join hands. Just keep your armies ready if they attack us first and we will support you if you get attacked" Theron offered.
Brian turned back and laughed, "I like you man".
He gave thumbs up and left.
Sylas had sigh of relief, "nice, you found middle way".
With what they decided, they will have some backing in case of attack and they also were secured from any trap since both armies won’t meet till the fight.
It will lead to some problems later but for now they were free from any backstabbing. And he hoped that gracie would return by the time anything goes wrong.
As the things were proceeding at rapid speed on the ground. Two people entered in a cave, both had weapons in their hand.
Harry had black long Sword in his hands while gracie had a shimmering white blade of level Eight.
"she must have gotten this from someone" Harry realised, he himself didn’t had a decent sword compared to his level now. The elemental master sword he had had cracks over the battles he fought.
He found himself using soul judgement sword too frequently, and when he needed to hide it, he used his hands or elemental skills.
Harry was ready to defend from any attacks. He still can’t forget that traumatising experience.
His heart was still beating from anticipation, he couldn’t forget the shadow of the Behemoth. His hands trembled thinking about it but he forced his nerves to calm down and focused ahead.
As they moved deeper the strange sound started entering their head.
"Follow the voice" Harry said remembering his experience.
Gracie nodded and walked silently.
