CHAPTER 63: REWARDS

Elsewhere, in a part of the jungle—

Two injured men stood close to each other.

"He was hard to kill and had so many artifacts—he was definitely an artifact seller," one of them said, looking down at a dead corpse, "But why the hell are you injured?" He asked shocked.

"What? Am I just looking injured? If I hadn’t run, that beast would’ve killed me," the other replied, then explained everything.

"You said when you were running, you saw him use an ominous sword. What can make a soul cultivator feel ominous?" he laughed.

"I don’t know. I’ve killed many people, but when I saw that sword, I felt like... like... it would swallow my soul."

"I’ve seen it somewhere in the records. I just need to verify it."

"Where did that man go?" Nephis asked, taking a pill to heal her injuries.

"He got injured during the fight, so he went with his other friend." Harry replied checking his own injuries.

"There was another person?" Eldrich asked, curious.

"I am pretty sure that’s what he told me," Harry said and went to a beast’s body.

There were 20 bodies of different levels of beasts. A treasure for Harry.

He was sure he would achieve elemental master level and might even exceed to level 2.

His eyes were sparkling with greed.

But he didn’t want to use the soul eater skill without preparation, so he was planning to take all the bodies with him and train at the academy.

Harry grabbed the leg of one beast and threw it inside his ring, then another, then another...

As one by one, the beasts disappeared into the ring, Eldrich and Nephis’ eyes bulged with shock.

As the last beast vanished before their eyes, Harry saw Nephis, Eldrich, and Gracie’s shocked expressions.

Tyler was in no mood to mingle with them, so he was still lying on the ground.

"What? I will distribute the crystals evenly. I am just keeping them for now," Harry said, assuming they were reacting that way because he took all the resources.

They looked at Harry in confusion, then just shook their heads dismissively. This person did random shocking things and acted like nothing happened.

Storing 20 bodies of beasts took an enormous amount of storage. Having that much storage space was shocking.

Even some of the most influential people lacked this stuff.

Harry checked inside; the beasts only took up a small space in the ring while the whole space was as big as a football stadium. All the carpaces were stuffed in the corner.

They were all exhausted; their ability to use elements and even their Qi was depleted.

Harry, in the meantime, checked his system screen.

"What... What is this Beast Space?" He clicked on it for more information.

Only forced contract beasts can be stored without permission; if you want to store a normal contract beast, you have to take permission. They can come out at any point they want.

Well, wasn’t this the best? He should have checked the rewards first. If he knew he got something like this, he would have stored the wolf to let it rest.

But as he went through the information, he frowned.

So, a normal soul contract beast could come out whenever it wanted. That could be problematic.

But then if he consider conditions he could give them an order to stay inside.

But he knew this would only work when the contract was tilted in Harry’s favor. In the future, if Harry needed to make a contract on equal terms, he would be doomed.

On top of that...He had to always consider the maintain cost. He will need 3 elemental master level six beast crystals if he wants to keep the wolf inside.

"Be careful, Let me go and see their leader," Harry said and went deeper into the jungle.

Others said nothing because they thought he was going to store its body too.

As Harry went there, the wolf was missing.

He saw its paw prints leading to a cave.

As he went inside, he controlled his laughter.

Because the mighty wolf was feasting on a mouse-like creature. It was barely at Foundation Building Level 6.

As the wolf heard someone chuckling, he jolted back in embarrassment.

Harry tried to stop his laugh and said, "I have a place for you."

Then he clicked on Beast Space.

Then he remembered how the system worked on a barter system.

He got a Beast Space because he cleared a quest. But if he wanted to get more, he would need to pay with something.

Same with maintaining it.

He brought 3 beast crystals and accepted the exchange.

The beast cores started dissolving in front of his eyes.

Then his perception went to an empty white room. But slowly, trees started growing, dirt and grass. The area resembled the Darkwood Jungle.

A water pond was created on one side of the area. The Beast Space itself was not that big; it was only half kilometre square space.

Then his eyes drifted to the description, where the Beast Space was ranked Level 1.

If it was Level 1, then what was the way to upgrade it?

He knew upgrading it would also take something in exchange. It could be by completing a quest or using beast crystals.

It was pretty straightforward but hard at the same time. Breaking someone’s will to fight back was difficult.

Then a grin appeared on the beast’s face. The wolf had already started finding loopholes in the contract.

As Harry brought his perception out, he saw the wolf grinning from ear to ear.

"Stop whatever you are thinking. Tap ’Yes’ in front of you," Harry sent a request for it to enter Beast Space.

Ohhh... another limit, he sighed, but he saw some hope. He was pretty sure that if he leveled up Beast Space, these limits would become less strict.

He came close to the beast, and the beast vanished in front of his eyes.

"So it already started" Harry sighed he can’t think of a way he could get those 3 crystals.
