God-Tier System: Kill Beasts, Cultivate Forever
Chapter 64: Goddess Of Beauty
CHAPTER 64: GODDESS OF BEAUTY
Harry and his friends returned to the city walls.
They had already cleaned the blood off their clothes. Tyler’s arm had also grown to the wrist, but he still hid it in his clothes.
On the way, they found those lizards again, but this time, party members were not in the mood to play. Nephis and Eldrich were killing them on sight, not even giving them a chance to see their faces.
Harry also tried many things for his Beast Space.
First, he tried to enter it himself, but only his consciousness was able to enter.
Second, the wolf’s injuries were healing at double speed. But he realized he needed to feed the beast inside.
The space was not providing food.
Then he tried to transport one of the dead lizards into the Beast Space, and it worked.
When he tried to transport a living lizard, it didn’t work.
"Only dead food could be transported into the space." Harry theorised.
In this time the wolf also ate the meat, and its injuries were healing at a faster pace.
It was already night when they reached the walls.
When the other hunters at the gate saw five kids returning from the desert alive, they were momentarily shocked, but then they ignored them after seeing their outfits.
The ground unhindered reached their truck, where the driver took them to the academy.
---
Somewhere in a mansion, two people were talking.
"No way those kids killed him. How is that even possible?" a man with broad shoulders, sitting on a luxury chair, said.
It was none other than the current head of the Edward family.
"I am also not sure, because if they had killed him, we would have definitely heard something from Eldrich’s family. But it seems he didn’t inform them of the incident," another man sitting in front stated.
"That kid can’t be that foolish. If he had killed the man, he would have already told his family. Does that mean that Harry guy alone killed our man?" the family head assumed and continued.
"Robert, avoid making moves on Harry outside of the academy. I am pretty sure there must be some heavy backing.
Who was that kid who was first in the rankings?"
"Brian."
"Yeah, that Brian. Tell him to finish Harry in the inner branch exam," the leader ordered.
"But that guy is a total psycho. There is no certainty he will do the work even after paying," Robert asked him to reconsider.
"That’s what I like about him. He doesn’t care what backing anyone has. If he hates someone, he will kill him. If he loves someone, he will put his life on the line to save him.
These types of people don’t go far but get used by people like me," the leader laughed.
---
Upon arriving at the academy, the group received rewards for clearing the quest.
"Ohh... man, you really cleared the quest. Here, take some extra from me," the old man handed them 100,000 credits each.
Harry just scoffed at his antics.
Giving 100,000 credits and still having the audacity to say it’s extra... He could earn that much money in a night.
’No.’ Not in a night.
He knew no one could hear his thoughts, but he still felt embarrassed by his choice of words.
Harry also distributed the beast crystals evenly.
They all got 500,000 credits worth of crystals.
Harry didn’t take much from the share because he had already used crystals on his Beast Space.
But he kept all the bodies for himself. These bodies could also be sold, but they were cheap compared to crystals.
"I am out. Since my bottleneck problem is solved, I will go and cultivate," Tyler said and left for the tower.
Gracie and Harry were left alone again.
"It seems you have found unique ways to use your chaos element. I am impressed." Harry was really amazed by her ability to learn.
Hearing this, Gracie felt the urge to play with Harry. So she used her element on him.
Harry suddenly noticed her face. Though it was rough, she was looking so beautiful. He had never paid attention to her features before.
Her big eyes, dry lips. The curves in her figure.
It’s against my reasoning, then Harry realised.
"How dare you," Harry cursed out loud.
There wasn’t much curve in her figure, nor did he love dry lips. Why would he love them?
Then he realized—he was tricked.
"I didn’t do anything," Gracie teleported to a far distance, dodging Harry’s hand that was about to catch her.
Harry didn’t follow. He knew there was no way he could catch her.
But he realized how terrifying her element was. If she learned to use it, if she learned to bridge the distance between artificial emotions and genuine emotions, then it would be terrifying.
"Okay, I am not doing anything. I want your help with my soul cultivation," he told her.
Both reached their special private training room.
"How did you realize that?" Gracie asked.
"It was simple. I was praising those features of your body that I don’t care about. So you can say it was a sudden change in my perspective. And you can say I already knew about your element," Harry explained.
"Why? Don’t I look decent?" Gracie asked mischievously.
"You look good normally, but after yesterday’s fight, we all look terrible," Harry laughed.
Gracie’s mood was ruined.
Although she didn’t care much about looks, getting a compliment or two was still something she didn’t hate.
"Whatever, I thought you needed help," she said and started leaving.
"Stop... stop. You are the most beautiful girl in the world. Please help me," Harry made a cute face. He really needed help with soul cultivation. He couldn’t lose his only helper.
"If you really insist, I can help you. But from the next time we meet, you have to greet me with the same words," Gracie said, returning.
"As you say, goddess of beauty," Harry almost choked on those words.
Gracie was definitely beautiful but not the most beautiful.
"Okay, okay, stop flattering. Now tell me why you need help," she said, enjoying it but definitely not showing it.
"Here, take a look at this," Harry brought out a page and gave it to Gracie.
The page was related to the Soul Eater skill.
"I think it could help you in the future."
Gracie went through the contents.
"What is this... Such a simple yet complicated technique. Why did I never think of increasing my soul cultivation this way?"
Harry was expecting some moral lessons from her, but it seemed she didn’t care much about morals.
He could see where that came from. She had already seen so much in her life. Morals didn’t matter much to her.
She knew the only thing that was important—absolute power.
Harry didn’t know why, but his legs walked toward Gracie, his hands wrapping around her back.
