Early the next morning, Theda''s car pulled up outside Debra and Marion''s new home.
Debra was dressed in a casual, fortable outfit. As Theda rolled down her car window, she saw Marion following behind Debra.
"Didn''t we agree it would just be the two of us? Why is Mr. Houstoning along?" she asked.
"I''ll be her bodyguard today," Marion replied.
Theda looked at the uniform he was wearing. "Yes, you are."
Debra exined, "He has nothing else to do anyway. He can keep Robertpany."
"Really? But I heard the Houston Group still has a lot of work waiting for him. Doesn''t he need to attend meetings for future decisions?" Theda asked.
Debra looked at Marion, who didn''t seem bothered. "Meetings can be held online."
Afterward, he sat in the front passenger seat, while Debra and Theda sat in the back.
"Let''s go to the ce we nned earlier," Theda said.
"Sure," Robert replied, driving smoothly.
Debra asked, "So, where are we going exactly?"
"Where else? Shopping halls for girls," Theda replied.
"Shopping?" Debra was surprised.
Theda exined, "I want to explore the beauty industry, so we''ll start with a full- body essential oil spa to get a feel of Seamar City''s business models."
"Speaking of the beauty business, I have just the right person in mind," Debra said.
"Who is it?" Theda asked.
Debra turned to Robert. "Change the destination. We''re going to Victoria''s Beauty."
"Victoria''s Beauty?" Theda asked.
"It''s a beautypany owned by the Lowe Group. It''s not bad, though their techniques are average and the prices are ridiculously high. It''s quite popr among wealthydies. went there once, but it wasn''t their
most popr service. Let''s check it
out and bill it to Drake. I''ve spent a lot of money helping him reform thepany. A few thousand bucks shouldn''t be a problem for him," Debra exined.
"You know how to get your money''s worth. I like that," Theda said, turning to Robert. "Let''s go to Victoria''s Beauty then."
Soon, the car pulled up in front of the salon. The staff were lined up outside, waiting for them.
As Theda and Debra got out of the car, the manager approached them and said, "Ladies, Mr. Lowe has instructed us to prepare our special services for you. We guarantee you''ll have a great time here."
"A great time?" Theda muttered, puzzled.
Marion and Robert sat on the sofa in
the lobby. A young, attractive
attendant was blushing as she
served them tea. She had heard that
rich people''s bodyguards were handsome, but she didn''t expect them to be this handsome
