CHAPTER 1527: PART 2: SCARY THEO BERNARD

From MC’s Perspective:

As time passes, I’m trying to come up with a new good plan. I think it’s dangerous to confront this person directly.

On top of it, I have to guard myself from the corrupted mana. Theo Bernard has been asleep. He is not waking up any time soon.

I also think this room is the perfect place to kill him. If he goes outside, then it would be hard to catch him.

I’m thinking of a good plan to eliminate this person.

Meanwhile,

Theo Bernard suddenly opened his eyes. He is feeling hungry. He takes out the storage container. He opened the cover and looked for the black jelly things.

It only had small leftover black jelly things inside the storage container. But the quantity was small. Seeing that, he felt disappointed.

He started to eat the leftover black jelly thing. He stood up from the chair. He walked up to the main door.

A black drop falls on the ground as Theo Bernard reaches the door. The black drops are still falling from the black jelly thing. He is still keeping the things in his hands.

Creak!

He then opened the door and walked out. He is going to get more food.

Inside the Gregor Mansion, I was shocked. I didn’t expect this person to go out right now. I had no other choice than to follow him.

If I missed him, then it wouldn’t be easy to find him again in this vast forbidden area. So I appeared outside. My feet touched the ground.

The next second, I found the dark corrupted mana trying to enter my body. Then I immediately left the room and started walking along the passage.

I saw Theo Bernard had left. Seeing that, I immediately increased my pace. Soon, I reached the passage to the surface.

I took the stairs before getting to the top. Then I opened the top cover and appeared outside. I looked around, it’s daytime. The daylight has covered the place.

As I started looking around, I noticed in one particular direction someone was going. The back of the person appeared to be similar. I immediately thought of Theo Bernard.

I started using the flight ability. I floated slightly above the ground. Then I started going towards Theo Bernard.

From the beginning to the end, there was no sign of the old man. I don’t know where he went. As time passed, I continued to follow Theo Bernard.

He seems to be going somewhere. Not only that, but dark liquid can be seen on the ground. It’s also another way of knowing where he is heading.

Even if I couldn’t see his back, I’m going by following this blood drop. As time passed, I noticed that the sky was getting darker.

A hint of surprise flashes in my eyes. It’s not because of the clouds. The area I’m getting into has a special environment.

To confirm, I turned around and looked at the sky behind my back. It was a bright blue sky. Though the dark mana lines are still abundant, it’s not as bad as the location I’m getting into.

The wanted criminal Theo Bernard is turning out to be a scary person. I should quickly come up with a way to kill him.

Soon, I reached the new area by following the blood drop. The scene that greeted my eyes was terrifying. I saw Theo Bernard.

He is standing in the middle of a lake. But the lake was not an ordinary lake. It’s a lake made up of black liquids. It’s the same liquid that has been dripping from the hands of Theo Bernard.

But I had seen him eat those things earlier. I continued to stare at his activities. He crouched down to collect the black liquid using the storage container.

All of a sudden, the black liquids in the lake began to boil. Theo Bernard put his hands inside the boiling bubble.

Seeing that, my heart skipped a beat. To my surprise, nothing happened to him. He casually pulled out his hand. This time there was a black jelly-type thing in his hand.

Upon seeing that, Theo Bernard immediately started eating it. The visuals sent goosebumps all over my body.

"System, probe the black liquid," I said to the system in my mind.

[Ding! The black liquid is the secretion of a Forbidden-level Monster which is in a state of deep sleep right now.]

Hearing that system answer, my heart was stirred. I turned towards the suicidal maniac. His actions might cause the deep sleep monster to awake. That too, a Forbidden-level monster.

This is the first Forbidden-level monster I’m encountering in this place.

Last time, I had encountered one in that dark forbidden area where that existence used its one hand to kill Forbidden-level Wizards.

Theo Bernard focused on eating. He didn’t know someone was watching him.

On the other hand, I made a decision to return. Since I learned where he is getting his food from, now it’s time to think about the method of killing.

I turned around and started walking towards the underground shelter. This time, I started walking faster. There is one more person I need to be careful of.

The old man doesn’t want to confront Theo Bernard, which gives me the opportunity to sneak in. It didn’t take long for me to reach the underground shelter.

Once I went down inside, the same foul smell greeted my nostrils. I continued walking along the passage before reaching the main door.

There was no sign of the old man whatsoever. I opened the main door and went inside. Then I locked the door. The next second, the corrupted mana inside the room tried to enter my body.

I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion. I went to the control room. I came to Zero Puppet and activated its core.

"Master!"

The next second, Zero greeted me. Then I told the Zero Puppet to keep a watch on the control mirror. If anything happens, then inform me.

Zero Puppet agreed. Then I went to the hall. I took out two storage bracelets. One of them belonged to a Supreme Wizard and the other one belonged to a Forbidden Wizard.

I had tried to open them before, but it didn’t work. Now that I’m a level-9 Wizard, I wanted to try whether it’s going to work or not.
