CHAPTER 1530: PART 1: RETURN JOURNEY

From MC’s Perspective:

I went to the hall and saw that Zero had completed the task. The decapitated head of Theo Bernard in his hand.

Seeing that my eyes gleamed with a twinkle. The headless corpse was on the ground. Now I have to make a decision on what to do with it.

I appreciated Zero before getting the decapitated head. Then I put it inside the system space. I touched the headless corpse and did the same as well.

Then I stood up and turned towards Zero Puppet. I accepted the knife Artifact and held it in my right hand. Then I appreciated it’s work again before deactivating it.

Swoosh!

The next second, I appeared outside. It’s the same room. The Corrupted mana is trying to enter the body again. I ignored it and opened the door to walk out.

Creak!

Then I started walking in the passage. I don’t know where the old man has gone. I should leave before he comes back.

A few minutes later,

I appeared outside. Just as I had taken a few steps forward, a sense of crisis hit me.

"What are you doing here?" The old man asked.

He is standing a few metres in front of me.

I smiled. Because he did recognise me from his words. But I’m wary of him. I’m not going to get close to him.

If he does something, then I’ll use the knife Artifact to stab him. I doubt his body can withstand the knife attacks from me.

The old man recalls this b@stard. Because he has been looking for him everywhere. But he sees her standing right before his eyes.

Then he suddenly thought of his boss. If his boss was inside then he wouldn’t have appeared outside alive.

The old man’s eyes turned cold. His boss must have gone somewhere and this person had sneaked in. He is not going to let this person escape.

Swoosh!

He rushed out forward to attack.

On the other hand, the sense of crisis covered my heart again. Old man’s Physique is at the level of Supreme.

If he was successful in his attack, then I might have to face a life and death crisis. I changed my decision at the last moment.

When he was a few steps away from me. I cast the 6th stage of the magic spell.

"Gravity Domain"

The next second, a gravitational force appeared out of nowhere. The immense pressure has struck the old man hard.

The old man was feeling heavy. He couldn’t move his body for an inch. His eyes flashed with disbelief.

As the time passed, the old man felt the mounting pressure on him. His mana core was crippled. So he couldn’t use his magic spell at all.

He could only use his body against the opponent.

The old man tries hard to move forward. His eyes were reddened in anger. He could tell that the magic spell was not that strong.

So the opponent was not the Supreme Wizard. It gives him confidence to attack the enemy.

On the other hand, I could feel the gravity mana is depleting rapidly. It’s the first time for me to use the magic spell against the supreme wizard.

Yet the old man was not reacting at all. My expression turned dark. I want to see how long he can withstand the attack.

As the time passes, the power of gravity increases more. Old men only take a couple steps forward. But he sees that the enemy has retreated. But nothing happened to him.

He realises that he was trapped under the magic spell. His skin has started cracking after some time. But it was a superfluous injury.

He once again started approaching the enemy.

On the other hand, my heart stirred. I’m trying my best. The mana is consuming at a rapid rate. I think I have no other choice other than to use the magic artifact.

Swoosh!

I cancelled the magic spell the next second. Then I started charging towards the old man. I slightly poured the mana into it.

The knife Artifact becomes activated the next moment. A dark blue mana covers the Artifact.

The old man who was coming forward was stunned all of a sudden. Because the magic spell got released. There was no pressure on his body.

Then he saw someone charging towards him.

His heart boils in anger. He doesn’t think the young man could hurt him. At this moment the Oldman made an oversight.

He didn’t judged the grade of the knife Artifact. He had assumed that the enemy had taken out something to attack.

Swoosh!

In a flash, both of them appeared in front of each other. I held the knife and tried to stab him. But the old man was the Supreme Wizard.

His reflexes were still top notch. He easily avoided the attack. Seeing that my eyes flickered. I immediately asked the system to remind me.

Then I continued swinging the knife at him. The old man is dodging easily without any great effort. He can easily read the enemy’s attack.

He now verifies that the enemy is probably the level-9 Wizard. One strike from him can kill the enemy. His eyes flashed with a glint. He went forward to punch.

[Ding! Warning ]

[Ding! Host move to the right side now ]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Then I moved towards the right side immediately. The old man’s punch hits the empty air with a booming sound.

A simple brute force is creating such a noise. I realised that the brute force had struck me. Then I could have been severely injured.

Swoosh!

I raised the knife to stab again. The knife is covered with deadly dark blue mana. Still, the old man failed to identify the threat coming from the knife.

He is still taking it with ease.

The old man once again dodged the knife attack and retreated to a safe distance. Seeing that I charged towards him. I told the system again to remind me at the right time.

Swoosh!

The old man continues to dodge. He could have dodged some moves earlier. He purposely doing it late to taunt the enemy.

I’m relentlessly making moves against him. All I need is one chance to hurt this old man.
