He wanted to listen to his older brother, but instead of imagining his Core as a black hole, he couldn’t help but imagine himself as a certain pink character that was ’headcannoned’ by the fans to have a black hole in its stomach.

So, I just have to swallow everything.

By ’everything,’ Yihun meant all the hearts and the Cores in that room.

The more he concentrated, the more he felt it— his body suddenly feeling like it became the black hole itself.

That was the sound of the Cores getting absorbed by Yihun one by one, at an alarming rate.

At first, it just felt like rain dropping on him.

But the faster the Cores got absorbed, the more painful the impact was.

It’s starting to hurt for real.

Not to the point that he wanted to stop, and so he endured.

Yihun didn’t know if the Cores understood him, but the way they attached themselves to him became a lot gentler until it didn’t hurt anymore.

Is Charles Kang really trying to kill me?

Yihun raised his head, and then he gasped when he saw that several of the disgusting limbs had pierced through Ho Jungwon’s body.

And it wasn’t just Ho Jungwon.

Even the ghosts of his siblings had been pierced.

"Jungwon-ssi..." Yihun couldn’t actually breathe, but the fingers around his neck loosened up a bit when he squeezed the arm really hard. Hence, he was able to talk. Barely, though. "Hyungs... Noonas..."

"Yihun-ah, live for us..."

"You can’t die here..."

"I’m sorry to ask you of this, but let’s get out of here, hmm?"

To be honest, Yihun was almost losing consciousness.

Hence, he couldn’t tell who was talking.

The voices he was hearing were starting to sound all the same to him.

But that was enough to give him the courage to live.

I can’t die here... I can’t let this place become my siblings’ grave... I have to get them out of here no matter what...

Yihun didn’t bother training himself to become an Esper.

But the old man in front of Yihun was nothing but a shell of what he used to be.

"Why are you getting angry, Charles Kang? You’re the one who wants the Guides to fight like Espers," Yihun said, his Mana hitting an all-time low— and a Mana depletion could only mean one thing. "I’ll show you how a Guide goes on a Rampage."

And BOOM.

Yihun’s Rampage caused a huge explosion...

... but he could feel the warmth of his siblings’ spirits protecting him.

Moon Noa couldn’t get his eyes off the pink blob on the floor.

It was beating as if it were a heart.

"Noa Hyung, there are people inside that room," Ryu Sungbin said while looking at the huge hole on the wall. And that allowed them to see what was inside. "I also see Charles Kang— though I’m not sure since his body was disfigured."

"Let’s check together..."

Moon Noa trailed off when he realized that he was already holding the pink blob in his hands.

It was a bit disgusting because it was beating like a heart.
