"It wasn’t me being kind, Haru-nim. I just didn’t want to judge him when I knew he was already fucked. Kicking someone when they’re already down is only fun when you do it to people you hate."

Haru chuckled, and then he gently patted Yuno’s head. "Adorable."

"Haru-nim, I hope you don’t blame yourself for the choice that Osaki Shohei made. He was a grown man who knew the consequences of his actions. I hope his death doesn’t put you in a slump," Yuno said, sighing. "I’m sorry to say this, but I want you to direct your anger at the right people. After all, I plan to use all the Espers at my disposal to end this stupid war."

"Don’t worry, I won’t let this distract me from my goal of marrying Noa-san."

"It’s a talking toy," 17 said cheerfully while looking at the ’talking toy.’ "Is it talking to you, Gayoon?"

Ki Gayoon ignored 17, and then he leaned out to pick up the pink turtle. "Yu Minju," he greeted the ’talking toy.’ "What is it?"

Yu Minju wouldn’t ’show up’ there without a reason.

"I finally made it— the device that can detect humanoid monsters!"

"That was fast," Ki Gayoon said, nodding approvingly. "How did you make it?"

"Uhm, that’s exactly why I called, Oppa. I didn’t make it alone. Some people helped me, and they provided me with the necessary materials..."

"What are you talking about?" Ki Gayoon asked, knitting his eyebrows in confusion. "You don’t like working with other people when it comes to inventing items. So, who did you work with?"

He did ask Yu Minju to cooperate with 17’s people.

But Yu Minju still wouldn’t have worked closely with them.

"I actually got kidnapped, Boss Oppa."
