Guide To Reign My Tycoon Husbands
Chapter 651: Stay Away From My Husband
CHAPTER 651: STAY AWAY FROM MY HUSBAND
"Talk about what exactly?" Liao Hong asked, even though she knew what exactly Luo Huian was talking about. With her head tilted to one side, she crossed her hands behind her back and looked at Luo Huian with a hint of amusement. "I think you are misunderstanding something. I did come to meet Fan Meilin, but we did nothing. You shouldn’t be jealous—"
Liao Hong didn’t even get to finish what she was saying when Luo Huian raised her hand and punched the woman in the face. Her hit wasn’t soft at all; in fact, it could be said that she even instilled a little spiritual energy within the punch, making Liao Hong stagger backwards. The pain was enough to make the woman tremble. She raised her head and looked at Luo Huian.
"You–"
"I am just that unreasonably jealous. What are you going to do about it?" Luo Huian cocked her head and looked down at the woman in front of her. She raised her foot and kicked Liao Hong, knocking her down to the ground before saying to her, "I don’t know what made you think that it was right for you to come and badger my husband. I think that just because I have lost my previous arrogance, you think that you can do anything? Right?"
Luo Huian reached out and placed her foot on the shoulder of the woman and pressed her down. She unleashed her aura, causing Liao Hong to choke. She stared at the woman in front of her in shock because she had never—not even once—thought that she would one day be suppressed by someone like Luo Huian. This woman — she was just an F-rank hunter; how in the world was her aura so strong? Liao Hong tried to get up from the floor, but Luo Huian pressed her down on the floor even more harshly.
"Ah!"
Liao Hong grimaced in pain when pain exploded in her right shoulder. She raised her head and looked at Luo Huian and asked through gritted teeth, "Who are you? How come you—"
"It doesn’t matter." Luo Huian didn’t hide her ability or strength. Fan Meilin was her husband, and she had taken him as one; how dare this woman corner him? Liao Hong was quite skilled. She knew what she wanted to do tonight and had already arranged everything in this resting area. The surveillance cameras were not working, and there was also an incense that could make a mer lose his mind. If Fan Meilin had stayed here, trapped for another hour or so, he would have definitely lost his mind. And by then —
Luo Huian’s face turned dark. She started putting more pressure on Liao Hong’s shoulders before saying to her, "You’d better get that thought out of your head, Madam Liao. Don’t think that the Luo family is scared of your Liao family. My husband, Liao Liqin, might be your cousin, but that does not give you nine lives like a cat. I will fucking bury you and your family alive if you dare to touch Fan Meilin again. This shall be your last time, understand?"
She pulled her foot away and wiped it on the rug next to her; her actions made Liao Hong’s face turn dark. She stared at Luo Huian as if she wanted to kill her, but dared not because the Luo family was indeed stronger than the Liao family. She glared at the woman silently, yet seething; seeing this, Luo Huian curled her lips and stated in a cold voice, "Liao Hong, you are free to look at him as much as you want, and it’s not because I don’t care about him, but because I want you to see him growing happy. You should continue looking at Fan Meilin and regret what you have lost. But that’s all you can do. I won’t stop you, but don’t try to touch him. You made your decision years ago, and it’s about time you came to accept it."
She then turned around on her feet and walked out of the room without looking back, leaving Liao Hong to be filled with a rage that she could not let go of. But she couldn’t even reach out and stop Luo Huian because she knew that even if she stopped her, she wouldn’t be able to deal with her. She gritted her teeth in anger and cursed out loud, "LUO HUIAN!"
On the other side, Xiao Bai was praising Luo Huian, "You did a good job, An An. You actually stopped yourself from killing that woman. This is really good!"
Luo Huian rolled her eyes. She was simply speechless while listening to the praises that Xiao Bai was showering her with but when she thought about her temper, she had to admit that with her past records, she would have really killed that woman. It was quite surprising that she left her alone with just a warning. It seemed like her temper had gotten much better than it was in the past.
Xiao Hei also nodded and said to Luo Huian in a childish voice, "She is right; you did a good job controlling that temper of yours."
Luo Huian didn’t say anything; instead, she turned to look at the two familiars and softly asked, "How long are you going to stay in that baby form? I mean its cute but I cannot take you seriously with you two looking so — childish."
Xiao Hei and Xiao Bai: "..."
"Who do you think we are doing this for?" Xiao Hei bristled, his temper rising. He glared at the woman who had no gratitude for the sacrifices that they were making. "Do you think that we want to be like this? It’s because you are too weak. Your spiritual energy is way too low; if we go back to our old forms, you will faint then and there. So it’s better not to cause trouble for you. Of course if you can recover your spiritual energy, we could return to our old forms right away."
"I want to do that too, but if I continue sucking the spiritual energy from the three mers, they will end up dying. Do you want everyone to think that I was too horny and killed my husbands?" Luo Huian remarked with a questioning brow, and Xiao Hei choked on his spit. He could neither agree nor disagree. So he could only fall back on silence.
The three of them returned to the car in utter silence. And as soon as Luo Huian slipped inside the car, the mer who were huddled in the corner reached out and hugged her.
"Are you alright?" Fan Meilin asked. He stared at Luo Huian with a look of sheer worry in his eyes as he knew that Liao Hong was much stronger than Luo Huian. If not for the fact that Bai Shiliu promised him that she would go and rescue Luo Huian right away if things turned south, he would have rushed out and saved Luo Huian even if it meant committing suicide.
Luo Huian looked down at the mer who was holding her and patted him on the back. She said to him, "I am fine. You do not need to worry about me. I am fine. What about you? Are you feeling alright?" Luo Huian asked as she looked at the mer; she carefully examined and frowned when she saw that the mer’s face was bruised. She raised her hand and brushed the skin that was red and torn. As soon as she touched him, Fan Meilin winced in pain.
Luo Huian pulled her hand back immediately. "I am sorry."
"It’s not your fault," said Fan Meilin as he rubbed the reddened skin on his face. He pursed his lips and glanced at Luo Huian before asking, "You didn’t–"
"We should go to the hospital," said Luo Huian. She didn’t let the mer complete his sentence because she knew what Fan Meilin wanted to say to her, and she had no intention of listening to his past with Liao Hong. For the first time in her life, she felt an emotion that she found hard to describe. It was weird. Burning and upsetting. She wished she could rush back and kill Liao Hong for existing. For touching Fan Meilin before her. But not once did she blame Fan Meilin for it.
The mer was also a victim of someone’s lies, and she couldn’t push the blame on his head. With a sigh, she could only hope that the mer would be able to forget his past and continue moving forward.
Fan Meilin was surprised when he saw Luo Huian stopping him from speaking. His heart warmed a little. Earlier, when he was waiting for Luo Huian to return, he was sure that the woman would ask him about Liao Hong and his relationship.
Because of this very reason, he brought the matter up on his own, as he didn’t want Luo Huian to question him. But he never expected Luo Huian to stop him from telling the truth. Maybe in her heart, she truly didn’t care about what happened between him and Liao Hong and that was something he was grateful for.
