Guide To Reign My Tycoon Husbands
Chapter 655: Fan Meilin: My wife is the sweetest
CHAPTER 655: FAN MEILIN: MY WIFE IS THE SWEETEST
Cao Xueping was going mad. He couldn’t understand how this happened. In a short while, it turned out that his son had been kidnapped and drugged by one of the mers whom he had chased and humiliated at a social event when that mer tried to make a move on his wife. It was one thing that the mer tried to kidnap his son but it was completely out of line that the mer drugged him with a dose that made it difficult for his son to survive.
Fortunately, his son was rescued in time and somehow managed to survive. But the drug dose still did some harm to him; his entire system was shaken up and now if Cao Xueping wanted his son to live a good life, then he needed to find matching bone marrow for his son to wash off the gloom poison created especially from the remnants of the glooms that were not cleaned up properly.
Where could he find a matching bone marrow?! If it was that simple, then he wouldn’t have worried about it, but it wasn’t that easy!
One of his uncles was looking for bone marrow samples and despite all the money that he had, he couldn’t find one. As he was too old, he couldn’t even have another child. Now the situation was really dire; his only daughter was on the verge of dying and he couldn’t do anything to save her. He could only helplessly watch his daughter dying while the daughter of the second husband of his wife took over the business. It was really too hard on his uncle as the second husband and his daughter straight up refused to save the life of his cousin.
They were vicious and his aunt was cruel; she didn’t want to waste her time with a dying daughter either.
Cao Xueping was worried. He was really worried. What was he going to do now? Was he going to watch his son die in front of him? No!
"There is nothing that we can do about his condition at the moment," the doctor was not aware of what was going on inside Cao Xueping’s head and was still talking. "There are no present antidotes for the gloom poison. Even if there are some being trialled, we cannot give it to your son without proper reports of success; that is simply out of the question. The only thing that can help is a matching bone marrow sample. If you have another child in your family, then you can bring them here; we can test them for matching samples. As long as they are your wife’s children there is always a possibility that their samples might match."
Cao Xueping felt like the sky was falling. He closed his eyes and took several breaths to calm himself down but he couldn’t even think of anything at that moment. He wished he could close his eyes and open them again, only for this nightmare to end. How could this be? How could this be possible? How could his son be suffering in such a manner?
When Cao Xueping stepped out of the doctor’s office, he was like a mer whose soul had been lost. But when he saw his wife standing outside and smoking in the smoking area, he felt a burst of anger surging through his heart and soul. He walked over and snatched the cigar from her hand before saying to the woman, "your son is dying in the hospital and you still have time to smoke? Have you lost your mind, Liao Hong?"
Usually he didn’t say a word about what Liao Hong did or how she spent her time without him, unless she was with another mer who was trying to take over his position but now he couldn’t understand their son was almost on the verge of dying and yet this woman, instead of helping him, she was standing here, smoking and looking at the moon in the sky. Was this the time to appreciate the beauty of the moon?
Liao Hong calmly turned and looked at him. She raised a brow at the mer and burst into a fit of chuckles. "You really know how to shift the blame, Xueping. But then again, you have been really good at this since the day I married you."
Cao Xueping frowned. He could not understand what his wife was trying to say.
Realising that the mer didn’t seem to understand what she was saying, Liao Hong curled her lips. She didn’t expect the mer to understand anything either way. She closed her eyes and then leaned close to the mer before whispering, "Do you remember the child that I had with Fan Meilin? If you hadn’t asked me to kill him, you would have a way out now, Xueping. The one who cut off the path of our son’s life is not me. It’s you. You were the one who refused to let any child of mine be born in this world because you were worried that you would end up getting kicked to one side. You didn’t want our son to lose his position as the heir, Cao Xueping. Tell me, now that your son is about to die, how do you feel?"
Liao Hong didn’t have much affection for this son. She had been taking care of him because her mother wanted him to become the heir of the Liao company, saying that Cao Xueping’s son was better than that son of a whore. Even when Liao Hong knelt in front of her mother and begged her to let that child off, her mother refused to listen. She only wanted Fan Meilin’s child gone and even threatened her with Fan Meilin’s life.
"Ah, what did you say?" Liao Hong tilted her head to one side and mused with a ghost of a smile on her lips. "You said that if Fan Meilin’s child was not gone, then you would make me suffer? Now tell me, who is the one suffering?"
Seeing the crushed look on the face of her husband, Liao Hong felt refreshed. This was good. This bastard once dared to make her beg on her knees. Now she would see how this mer would survive this ordeal.

"You mean to say that he needs a bone marrow transplant?" Fan Meilin raised his head from the couch and turned to look at his assistant in shock. He knew that something happened last night but he didn’t know that it was this serious. How could it be possible for a healthy child to suddenly turn so sick?
Xu Qiao snorted. He knew exactly what was going on in Fan Meilin’s head and said in a soft voice, "Isn’t it because of Cao Xueping? That mer humiliated someone at a party just because they tried to get close to his wife. That mer wasn’t like you who suffered in silence. He immediately arranged for some kidnappers and kidnapped that child, feeding him the poison of gloom. You know that there is no antidote present for that poison. So it’s already a miracle that the child is alive, with such a potent poison in his body."
He paused and added, "Honestly, I believe that this is the retribution of that mer."
Fan Meilin didn’t say anything. He didn’t feel happy about what happened to that little mer. After all, he had no grudge with that innocent mer, even if he had some feud with his father. He sighed and said, "This has nothing to do with us; tell the team to not discuss this matter with anyone. Since our identity is a bit sensitive, if we are caught gossiping, then I am afraid that Cao Xueping would cause trouble for our team and me. So tell them to be extra careful."
"I already asked them to be careful," said Xu Qiao. He took the printed documents from the printer and turned to walk around the coffee table. He placed them in front of Fan Meilin and said to him, "These are the cars that are on trend at the moment. They are really good and have a lot of safety features." He paused and then asked, "But why are you thinking of buying a car for Luo Huian out of nowhere?"
"Last night Cao Xueping came to see her." Fan Meilin picked up the papers from the table and started reading the information printed on them, while he was calm as a cucumber, Xu Qiao nearly exploded with anger and worry.
"What?! How dare that mer? Hasn’t he done enough damage to you already? Why won’t he leave you alone?" Xu Qiao was so angry that he wished he could break Cao Xueping’s legs so he would stop causing trouble every day. However, that was not important. The important thing was—
"How did she react?"
Fan Meilin smiled softly before replying, "She pretended that she knew nothing about what happened between me and Liao Hong."
