As soon as Vincent teleported to his office, he dispersed the illusion on his left hand, revealing that the entire thing had now corroded up to his shoulder, and even parts of his pectoral muscle.

"You said too much," Mimir said with a pain in her eyes as she handed him a potion.

"No risk, no reward," Vincent said calmly as he swallowed the potion and closed his eyes to rest. Beads of sweat immediately dropped from his forehead, and his complexion became paler.

Mimir sighed deeply. "Be honest. How much of your full strength can you use?"

"60% for normal output, and 70% if I push myself," Vincent said. The backlash from breaking the covenant did not just take his arm, but also affected his soul.

"This is not enough in case the Demon Lord escapes its seal. You need to warn the others to prepare to replace you in case of an emergency," Mimir warned. They had a duty granted to them by the Arcane Council, and Vincent would be in severe trouble if he allowed his selfishness to affect it.

"Give me some time to stabilize, and I'll tell Sherman."

"What about Liu Xing?" Mimir asked.

"He has become a little too ambitious. I can't trust him now," Vincent replied as he slowly opened his eyes. "What happened to the investigation?"

"It was the Kaos Clan."

Vincent squinted. "Everything makes so much sense." The Kaos Clan is a Blood Crest Family known for their study of spatial magic. However, there was a time in the clan when these people worshipped the Void and tried to summon dimension entities. A wise clan member killed all the people involved in the ceremony, barely managing to preserve their clan.

"It appeared many of their clans had been secret members of the Veilbreakers. I even found signs of a ceremony to summon a soul from another dimension," Mimir revealed.

"Where are they now?"

"They've hidden themselves in a pocket dimension. These idiots thought this was enough to hide themselves."

"Give me the coordinates," Vincent said as he stood up.

"Do you want to rest first?"

"No need."

Mimir sighed before using their soul link to transfer the information. Vincent took a moment to process the data before using the ancient rune incantation: "Raido." An ancient rune that resembled the letter [R] materialized in the room before slowly transforming into a rectangular portal. Vincent did not hesitate and stepped through.

He appeared floating above a small town with more than 20,000 people, all members of the Kaos Clan. Vincent's eyes were clear, calm, and cruel. His eyes suddenly glowed white as energy and power radiated from him.

"Isa," he uttered, continuing to use ancient runic magic. Vincent watched as everything in this pocket dimension rapidly turned into ice. All the Kaos Clan members, the animals, the buildings, and the entire dimension, which was as large as a small city in the modern world, slowly froze as if the world had suddenly returned to the ice age.

No one could resist, even the Grand Sorcerer of the Kaos Clan. However, Vincent was not satisfied. The Blood Crest Alliance has recently displayed too much hubris for his liking. He can only blame his laissez-faire approach to running the library. Regardless, it was time to corrupt their way of thinking.

So, Vince used the Raido Spell again, but not to travel, but to find the spatial nodes of this pocket dimension. He destroyed a few nodes, leveraging the collapse of this entire pocket dimension. He took one last look at this place, ignoring the collapse of space itself, before teleporting home.

"Did you feel that?" Christian asked.

"You mean the earthquake? It's quite common around here."

"True," Christian nodded. He remembered feeling small-scale earthquakes a few times since coming to this place. Since it was not important, he returned to the third area library.

"What exactly are you looking for?"

"The recipe for the Hercules Potion," Christian replied.

"You know this thing is a scam, right?"

"What do you mean?"

"Such a high-level potion should not be left in the third area, but exist as a sign that the library is truly fair. However, the recipe is basically useless because of the required materials."

"Why am I not surprised?" Christian shook his head. "Anyway, I only want it just in case."

"As long as you don't have high expectations."

The two soon reached their destination, and Christian found what he was looking for in the Potion Isle. He found a place to sit down and read the content:

[Potion Main Materials: Bright Tree Dew, Thousand Heart Eye, and Orc Hero's Heart.

[Secondary Material: Pure Steel Leaf, Purple Rhizomes, White Ginger Root, Screaming Plant Juice.

[Refining Process:...]

Christian skipped the refining process for now and focused on the effect.

[Primary Effect: Bloodline Optimization.

[Secondary Effects: Low Poison Immunity, Low-Probability of Spark Awaken, Spirituality Awakening, 10-year Life Extension For Mortals, Curing a Variety of Diseases (Including…)]

Christian immediately read the list of diseases, and as expected, his Cognitive Aequilibrium was one of them. He felt relieved, but he was soon intrigued by some of the effects, so he searched for books on the subjects.

Spark Awaken immediately caught his attention. Spark Awakening meant that a Squib, who inherited a Spark from their parents, but it was inactive, could have a chance at becoming a full-fledged wizard.

'Aunt Eleanor would love this potion,' Christian thought. However, he immediately felt conflicted. On one hand, he wanted to solve his issue, and on the other, he also wanted his aunt to be a wizard.

'I love Aunt Eleanor, but with my situation, I cannot be in a weakened state. And one cauldron should make enough for both of us. Plus, I don't even know if I'll be able to get these materials,' Christian thought.

He was lucky he had controlled his expectations because he was immediately disappointed after learning what these primary materials were. He had no chance. He glanced at the refining process and was surprised to learn that the potion required three spells.

Typically, a potion only requires one spell at the end of the brewing process. However, this formula required three spells, each at a specific interval during the brewing process. 'More than one spell? That's an interesting idea to experiment on.' Christian did not waste time and wrote Entry 38 in his magic journal.

Christian closed all the books in front of him.

"Are you finally done?" Kallista asked.

"One more thing," Christian said before looking for the books Vincent said he would give him, especially the one about the ceremony. As soon as he had his thought, a golden light led him to a book in a corner of the library, out of sight of most people. Christian opened it and memorized every word, and as soon as he finished, the book disappeared from his hand.

As he was about to leave, the golden light also led him to the spell area, stopping before a thin scroll. Surprised, Christian opened it. His eyes immediately lit up. The scroll contained a spell called Minor Clairvoyance Charm. As long as he has been somewhere or had a precise map, he can cast the spell, and an invisible light that only he can see will appear to guide him to his destination.

'Did he give me the spell because of my lack of direction?' Christian's cheeks turned red out of embarrassment. "No need to be ashamed. Anyway, this spell is perfect for me."

Christian left the third area, preparing to learn this spell later before bed. Kallista followed him, but once they arrived at their destination, they did not interact much. Kallista was busy searching for spells, and Christian lost himself in memorizing books.
