Hate me, Miss Witch!
Chapter 193 - 122: Ready to Put on Heavy Makeup, the Good Play Begins (Two in One)
Arcane Arts Capital, Lokiya.
In the most bustling hotel of the Constantine District.
Shiayar looked at the azure-colored light screen in his mind and let out a long sigh of relief.

Shiayar and Enola had stayed in the Arcane Arts Capital of Lokiya for a week.
On one hand, Su Lun, the Dawn Saintess who seldom left the Sacred Court, spent a few days in the city with them, revisiting the place where the three of them had once lived together.
On the other hand, Shiayar was also working with Jayee to familiarize her with those two pieces of equipment.
After all, these were the ultimate trump cards Shiayar had spared no expense to prepare; he couldn't afford to be careless.
Seven days passed, and the preparation phase was successfully completed.
As the newest member of his team, Shiayar had maxed out Jayee's various attributes, regardless of the cost.
It had nearly drained the last of Shiayar's Sands of Time. If it hadn't been for some rewards he earned from the favorability and reputation points gained with significant figures when he first left the Echo of History, he might not have had enough.
Jayee's treatment made the other three little ones in Shiayar's Soul Pact Space brim with envy, almost bubbling over with sourness.
Damn it! Does being Su Lun's favored 'daughter' mean she can do whatever she wants?
Crimson especially remembered when she first joined the team. She too had been treated like Shiayar's own daughter. Every resource and opportunity to advance had been piled onto her, and she'd even enjoyed the exclusive right to be Shiayar's cuddle pillow.
But now, the boomerang of the past had finally come back to hit her; it was her turn to feel past her prime, watching the newcomer reap all the benefits.
But come to think of it— Crimson mused. Jayee's current status seemed largely due to her acknowledging Su Lun as her mother. Then could I myself... possibly take the opportunity to acknowledge the Gray-Silver Witch as my mother? Silvia surely wouldn't disown her own daughter, would she?
Crimson sank into deep contemplation; the more she thought about it, the more feasible the idea seemed.
...
CLICK.
The lock to the hotel suite opened, and the door swung wide.
Enola entered the bedroom, her arms laden with shopping bags, large and small.
Ever since they moved into the mansion in the Black Lily District, the two of them had shared a bed. Now, in the hotel in Lokiya, it was no different.
Shiayar didn't need to turn around; he recognized her footsteps. "You're back?" he asked casually.
"Yeah, I went shopping with Su Lun," Enola replied, walking to the spacious bed and setting down the shopping bags filled with new clothes. "She's going back to the Sacred Court tonight, so we shopped a bit longer."
She wasn't usually the type to dress up, but it seemed Su Lun's influence had her paying more attention to her appearance lately.
Shiayar was naturally pleased with this change; after all, it opened up more... possibilities for him.
Moreover, an Ennie like this seemed more human, not the indifferent, lifeless killing machine from the Military Department.
However, after returning to the bedroom, Enola didn't proceed with her usual meditative cultivation before sleep.
She simply sat silently on the bed, quietly watching Shiayar's profile.
Has she found out about Su Lun and me? Shiayar wondered. Ennie's death glare made his skin crawl.
In the past few days, Su Lun had secretly sought him out a few times behind Ennie's back.
They had done almost everything except the final step.
One had to admit, that girl was incredibly adept.
Shiayar's relationships with the girls around him were each unique.
His relationship with Ennie was like that of an old married couple—they understood each other without words, a bond of love and familial affection.
Silvia, on the other hand, was like a long-lost love, a white moonlight figure from a dream, carrying a fantastical allure.
And Su Lun was the playful, adventurous lover.
Just as Shiayar, under Ennie's death glare, was about to raise the white flag and surrender, Enola suddenly spoke.
"Are you planning... to go to that place again?"
The girl's cool voice rang in Shiayar's ear.
That place... What place? The place where Su Lun and I... fooled around? was Shiayar's first thought. However, he quickly realized Ennie had called him by his name this time, not "Student Shiayar."
So, the 'that place' she was referring to was the Echo of History.
"Yeah," Shiayar nodded.
Enola had known something about the Echo of History since the second time Shiayar entered it. Besides, he had never intended to hide it from her.
Coupled with the incident where he fainted in the washroom and Silvia's appearance, Enola had been able to piece together a rough idea.
And Enola was never the type to pry.
Given their mutual understanding, if Shiayar didn't say anything, Enola wouldn't ask.
This time, however, Enola had brought it up herself for some reason.
The golden-haired girl gazed at Shiayar's profile with her ice-blue eyes. "Is it dangerous this time?"
"It's alright. Much safer than the time I fainted before," Shiayar replied.
That was true. Although the enemy Shiayar faced this time was far more formidable than the one from the Ancient Dukedom Azure Garden, he had his undying body.
