Lian Yu was currently staring at Anaya with a very displeased expression on his face.

He was extremely mad at her for hiding the issues between her and Farrell from him, all in the name of not wanting him to get into trouble.

As a man, was he supposed to tolerate another man’s humiliation, especially when it solely concerned his woman?

"Yu~" Anaya spoke softly, Lian Yu’s gaze softening as she gently hugged him.

"I’m sorry," Anaya apologized meekly.

Lian Yu sighed deeply, his displeased expression morphing into a comforting one, returning the intimate hug.

"I know. But just, don’t hide these kinds of things from me anymore, okay?" He added softly.

"You are the most important person to me, and the thought of not being aware of some sick bastard trying to harass you, is just..."

He didn’t even have to finish talking but Anaya knew what he meant.

He couldn’t stand it!

"The piece of shit should have stopped when you turned him down the first time in Atlantis. Now, he’s gonna pay the price with his life, for harassing and disrespecting my woman."

A glint of ruthlessness flashed through his eyes as he spoke.

Anaya knew that he was really pissed.

"He even insulted senior brother in addition? He’s fortunate that senior brother decided not to act personally, else he would have been dead by now. Senior brother wanted to give me face by letting me handle this myself," Lian Yu said.

"Besides, what kind of man would people think I am if I allow another man to protect my woman’s integrity in my stead after some bastard frowns upon her integrity?"

"I’m sorry for—"

Before she finished speaking, Lian Yu impatiently, yet softly interrupted her.

"Your problems are my problems. You are sorry for what? Dragging me into this mess?

You’ve stood by my side when no one else has, don’t you think it’s only fair I do the same? I don’t care what sort of background that guy has in Atlantis—he’s a dead man."

Anaya sighed deeply. It seemed she was letting her care for Lian Yu cloud her judgment concerning the current situation.

Men were creatures of ego, and one thing that ticked every man in love off was when his woman was humiliated by someone else, especially by another man.

She did not underestimate Lian Yu’s strength. However, she was also aware of the kind of mess the Sword Tribunal Society would be dragged into if Farrell was to die—a ridiculously strong councillor of the student council, Farrell’s elder brother, was bound to come after the Sword Tribunal Society.

But, on second thought? Did it really matter?

Were they supposed to always take things lying down?

Just because the bastard was from a more powerful background?

"Let’s inform the leaders of the society about your decision," she said. "They deserve to know, as they will be dragged into the repercussions of the life and death battle."

The leaders of the Sword Tribunal Society were currently seated in the society lounge, each bearing equally furious and disgusted expressions on their faces after what they had just heard.

Anaya and Lian Yu had just finished speaking, waiting for the opinions of the others.

The first person to break the silence was Miranda.

The black-haired beautiful werewolf sighed, her black pupils revealing a trace of disgust towards this Farrell.

"So let me get this straight, this bastard is from a very influential background in Atlantis, has been making advances towards you in Atlantis from even before you enrolled in the academy. When Anaya mentioned what Farrell had done, especially the lies he spread in Atlantis about her, Kailen remembered the kind of treatment Arrie endured at the hands of insufferable scumbags like this bastard in the past.

This was why he was reacting the way he was to the whole thing.

In the first place, he honestly didn’t care about offending anyone after Lian Yu kills the bastard.

Lian Yu had to protect the image of his woman and take revenge for her.

In fact, had Kailen been in Lian Yu’s position, and Arrie had been humiliated like this, Farrell would be dead by now, in the most gruesome way in fact.

Finally President Kailen spoke, his words sealing the deal.

I would be only disappointed if you give him an easy death."
