Before Kailen could even finish speaking, Jin moved.

He positioned the three shadow hounds at different parts of the battlefield, their presence veiled from everyone’s view.

He couldn’t use them to get rid of his enemy, but he could use them to elude the fellow for the next five minutes and buy enough time to kill him when the effect wore off.

Quickly, he used Umbral Replacement, escaping the descent of Jin’s bloodthirsty scythe at the last moment.

The moment Jin launched one attack towards him, he would reposition the shadow hounds and use Umbral Replacement to switch locations with them.

To the onlookers, Kailen Darkhaven kept disappearing and appearing at different parts of the battlefield.

His maddened and frustrated opponent darted with extreme speed towards anywhere Kailen appeared at, only for the fellow to disappear and reappear at a different spot again.
