Kailen didn’t even turn to look at Sanguine. With a click of his fingers, the same mechanism that led to the death of Cimeris repeated itself. He bloated, his form turning greenish until he burst into pieces, his innards and blood spilling across the whole place.

Kailen was not a person of too many words. He didn’t say anything further. He didn’t cast his gaze across the bleachers, or make a cringeworthy statement about this demonstration of his ruthlessness being some lesson to those who wanted to mess with him.

Riba chuckled lightly, finding it funny. He admitted that this Kailen was very strong. This guy was no joke. And he would be a terrifying foe to the Harkers if not eliminated early!

They can even kill some of them! Then swoop in to assist them out of the situation. His society members will return from their missions, bearing testimonies of how you saved them!

He won’t suspect anything out of the ordinary since we’ve managed to maintain your public facade as the most generous and amiable councillor on campus. "

Vesper nodded. The plan seemed okay and perfect.

" After making him feel indebted, we can then suggest to him that we would want to embark on some sort of mission that would require his alchemical prowess, then get rid of him silently and absorb his life force! " Vesper added as a sharp glint of maliciousness flashed through his eyes.
