" Very well" Kadmen sighed in defeat. " I understand"

" Sure, sir. If I may ask sir, why are you so interested in me? I’m simply asking out of curiosity"

Kadmen smiled.

" Black Flask, we both know you have the answer to that question"

" I suppose so" Kailen replied with a smile. "So it confirms my reasonings huh"

" Yeah, I know there’s a mysterious force behind you, one that probably defies logic in every way possible. I don’t know who that mysterious backing or powerhouse is and I won’t even dare to probe because the universe is extremely vast and I’m like a spec of dust in the grand scheme of things, but what I’m certain of is that, this mysterious backing doesn’t feel bad about me lending you a hand. And for some reason, I know that as you conveyed in Inevitability, you will one day stand at the apex of the universe, and I want to be part of that story , even if I make some inconsequential waves"

Kailen couldn’t help but chuckle in surprise.

As Kailen left the lounge , Ross Kadmen stared at his retreating back and muttered to himself.
