After they got to the pub, the team ordered for some liquor before going their separate way.

    " Hey Ellis be prepared for the fight because I won''t be showing any mercy on that day" said josh who was highly drunk and could hardly walk.

    " No, you should be the one to be prepared because my fist can''t differentiate between friend from for" replied Ellis as he staggered to the side.

    " I have said my piece, so don''t feel bad when I hit that pig face of yours," said josh.

    " Enough already, we all drank the same brand so why is it only you''re misbehaving" said Ray who could hardly walk.

    " Look who is talking, a black pot is calling a pot black" said Gray who has been smiling all through.

    " Ray come let''s go home and prepare for the big fight" said Ellis as he dragged Ray away from the rest and started heading home.

    " Hey Ellis take it easy alright" said Ray who was drag along the way.

    Letting go of him after they were far from the team, Ellis shook his head before saying.

    " Just look at you, just wasted and could barely do anything" replied Ellis as he looked at Ray.

    " Hey don''t look at me like that, we were all in the same boat, so I don''t see the reason why you are looking at me like that" complaint Ray when seeing the way he is been look at.

    " Yes we are all in the same boat but do you actually think that every one of them was wasted just like you" asked Ellis

    " Who knows, maybe they are just putting on a front, you never can tell," replied Ray.

    " At least they don''t make it obvious for others to see," said Ellis.

    " My dear friend you see when you are drunk, it is obvious" replied Ray shamelessly.

    " Ahh, you know what, let go home. I need to prepare for the match" said Ellis as he begins to walk home with Ray walking beside him.

    Meanwhile, in the curious wetland wood, a lone swordsman was walking in the forest as he head to the cottage. Taking a walk inside, the swordsman began to observe his surrounding before proceeding forward until he eventually got to a large hall and laying on the floor were dead bodies.

    " I can''t believe that were able to resist this many cultivators all by themselves" said the swordsman as he observed the bodies laying on the ground motionless.

    Walking forward, he came across another cultivator, but this one was different from the rest and by the look of the cut in his neck, one could tell that he was killed by a dagger.

    " It''s gone, someone actually beat me to it" said the swordsman in a deep voice before turning around and went outside.

    Coming out of the cottage, the swordsman turn around to look at the cottage once more before setting it on fire with his spiritual energy.

    " Ah, leader is going to get really mad at me this time around" said the swordsman in a chuckle before vanishing out of the place with no trace of energy around the area.

    Two months later after going into seclusion, Ellis was finally able to recover is spiritual energy with the help of the potion that was given to him by Ray which increase the speed at which he store energy in his core. Taking a deep breath, Ellis opened his eyes that have been shut for two good month as the sun shines on his face, Ellis got up and walk out of the garden not even warming himself up with some punching route as he walked in to the room with a smile on his face only for the smile to turn into frown.

    Being greeted by the smell of alcohol that slap him on the face the moment he slammed the door to the garden behind him.

    " You bastard, just leaving you alone for just two months and this is how you decided to live your life. Drinking alcohol all over the place" said Ellis as he placed his hand on his nose as he begins to head towards Ray resting place.

    He hadn''t even gone far when he kicked something hard on the floor, locking his eyes on what it was only for him to see Ray laying on the ground far asleep with a smile on his face. With annoyance, Ellis gather a bit of energy on his leg as he sent a kick at Ray which sent he sliding back a little before walking up.

    "Arrrg, what is wrong with you, Ellis. Hitting a man when he is down is actually what a coward will," said Ray as he grab unto to stomach in pain.

    " So do you want to have a go with me" replied Ellis to Ray as he took on a fighting stance.

    " Only a fool with agree to fight with you just after waking up from a good sleep" said Ray as he stared at Ellis in anger.

    " Only two months that I left you, you decided to drink and turn the whole place into your drinking yield" said Ellis as he pointed at the room that was filled with dirt.

    " It''s just a little duct that can be easily clean by the use of spiritual energy so why worry about it" replied Ray as channel his energy before waving his hand around and before long the room was sparkling clean with no dust in sight.

    Seeing that Ellis was not answering him, Ray begins to think of what to say to lighten up his mind and that was when he realized that he has just come out of the garden.

    " You are finally done recovery your spiritual energy ain''t you" asked Ray as he looked at Ellis with a smile on his face.

    " It took you long enough to realize that" replied Ellis as he shook his head helplessly.

    " How can I noticed on time when you ambush me while I was sleeping" said Ellis as he smiled.

    " What is it that you noticed different about me, is it my aura or did I grow a bit taller," asked Ellis.

    " I wish you can grow a bit, but it is just not possible" replied Ray as he continues to observe him.

    " Then tell me what it is before I punch you in the face," said Ellis.

    " Are you sure you have completely recovered from the energy drained.

    " What is that supposed to mean, of course I am fully recovered and looking for someone to battle with," replied Ellis.

    " If you say you have fully recovered, then explain to me why are you still slim, and you look even worst that when you went into seclusion," Asked Ray with a confused look on his face.

    " My, and I thought it was going to be something important" said Ellis as he sighed

    " This is really important man, just take a look at yourself in the mirror, you look like a damn begger bro" replied Ray still not feeling okay with what he is seeing.

    " Am okay, what you see right now is just a result of being out of energy for a long time with no food to repolish the body, but don''t you worry with time I will go back to my usual self" said Ellis with a smile.

    Walking to the table by the side of where he lay, Ray picked up a jug of liquor and treat himself to a mouth full of liquor before saying.

    " Now that you have recovered your spiritual energy, are you going to proceed with the fight or wait a little while"

    " I don''t want to rush into things like a mad dog since I have not yet gotten used to my strength, so before going to the arena I must have mastered my strength since josh is not an enemy" replied Ellis as him clench his fist in anticipation before waving for Ray to pass him the jug.

    " Why didn''t you go on a quest with the other instead of wasting your time him getting drunk" asked Ellis after drinking a mouthful of liquor?

    " Nothing, I just decided to take the day off and free myself from all this stress" replied Ray with a smile.

    " You said you have not mastered your strength so tell me, do you want a friendly spar with me or what" asked Ray as he picked up his blades from the ground and headed to the garden.

    " What a hot-blooded guy, anyway time for some warm up" said Ellis to himself as he chuckled a little before going inside the garden.
