Heavenly Opposers

CHAPTER 292: CHAPTER 291-FIRST ’GIFT’.
After Azrail’s declaration, there was a moment of silence. Soon after, he pulled back his aura, his presence being dwarfed again. None of the elders spoke up, all of them were lost in their own thoughts, focused on Azrail, marking him. What he showed just now suggests that there is more to see than what is being told.
A lot of secrets are hidden within Austin, which also shows the fact that he is not one to be easily messed with. Azrail could feel it; the tension in the room was sky-high. The eyes of the elders, in a hidden manner, were fully focused on Azrail. He could feel them weighing him, understanding him on a deeper level.
’They don’t want to make a small move yet; they want to know more.’
Azrail mused, a smile coming to his hidden face. He is currently walking on a tightrope; a small mistake and they will use it against him. The main situation regarding what Azrail spoke of still required several things to be discussed, mainly focusing on the announcement Azrail made that he won’t be leaving the Olympus faction anytime soon, which cannot be seen as anything acceptable.
’They will reel it all in, won’t they?’
Azrail mused with an internal chuckle as Seraphel spoke.
"Young lord, we need more incentive for us to understand your goal of staying in the Olympus faction."
Her words were gentle and controlled, to which Azrail looked at her, his gaze hidden by the cloak. He understood her intentions as he spoke.
"It’s a personal matter that I have to deal with. There is something I need, and Queen Hera is a good way for me to get what I want, that’s all. And in return for this, I have some ideas that can be put into motion."
"Ideas?"
Dravokh reacted to Azrail’s words, to which, with a nod, Azrail started to speak.
"I have spent some time, a long while, playing around with the thoughts and information I can get about this place. My master has also blessed me with the info I need, which has led me to create some plans we can take into the future."
As Azrail spoke of this, he closed his eyes for a single moment. Several of the plans he made before passed through him. While the talk looked peaceful, it was actually a war field, one where Azrail would have to prove his worth; if not, he would be swallowed up by these elders here, taken in by their greed.
’I can’t have them on a leash yet, but I can control them with the knowledge I have.’
One thing that binds all together is profit and greed, which even now all of these elders have. Azrail knows a very great path about all these elders, better than they know themselves because part of the story about their wars is in the so-called book that Azrail had read. The chosen was indeed, after all, one of those heavenly blessed meant to rise.
A powerful one, and each and every story of all of them—how they rose to power, the tactics, and the lives that moved around—flowed within the mind of Azrail. Several plot points from the book’s stories flooded Azrail’s mind, each one of them more significant and better than the last. Thus, Azrail knew which among them he would be able to form control over.
’Their secrets in the palm of my hands.’
A smile came to Azrail’s face as he thought of that scenario. Several of their dirty secrets, the things they don’t want to be known, and their future are known by Azrail. Even leaving aside the knowledge Azrail has from the ’book’ he read, even beyond that lay in the hands of Azrail Adria. She has lived a long life and knows more about everything than many.
She had studied, understood, ripped off, and even kept in her hands several secrets in her quest when she wanted to go against the Heavenly Rulers. Within that info is precious information about all the top brass of different factions or organizations, which is ready for Azrail to use.
He had taken it from Adria, who helped him, and Azrail had matched it with all the info he had, which led him to create a plan for himself—one that, when the real chosen one arrives, no one will be on his side at all. By then, Azrail would have taken most control for himself, and he knows just how to begin it.
Thus, after a moment of contemplation and pause, Azrail started to speak.
"One high-quality world filled with attribute crystals relating to mid-tier death that can evolve to high-tier, which is still not found or conquered..."
Azrail muttered, his words freezing the room for a moment. The whole atmosphere twisted and turned while Azrail could practically feel the greed shimmering in the place. The faction of Oblivion’s Embrace has already lost several of its glory days from staying within its shell and not taking any outward actions, which is the main problem.
It has dulled many of the elders, and the way to get them back to the top is to get more resources, start building up power, create political connections again, and conquer more worlds under their faction that will grant them more power, belief, and perhaps raise their divinity level, where they might even get a better chance to step into the divine.
’And a high-tier world with such resources thriving to go up will be the best.’
Azrail mused, already feeling the heavy gazes settling down on him. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what Azrail can provide for now, and it will only get better as time goes on. It was within this freezing situation that Dravokh spoke.
"Is this a joke?"
To which Azrail shook his head as he replied.
"Do I look like someone who will joke about something like this? I have info and coordinates for such a world, and I will freely give control and access to it to the 13 elders. I won’t take a bit of the pie, and that is just the beginning."
A stifling silence followed until Dravokh asked.
"Current growth rate?"
"Striving to go higher."
"Species thriving?"
"Exotic."
"Power capability level?"
"Level 4."
At the mention that it had only reached level 4, Azrail felt another shift in the environment. His answer meant that they are barely reaching the average power rate, which means there would be several steps and paths of growth for that realm or world as a whole, making it very desirable, especially if it is thriving on death energy around the whole place, making it a place many would fight to get, be it different factions.
"How high is the reserve?"
Dravokh finally asked, to which Azrail, with a hidden smile, replied.
"Enough for millenniums to come."
And that was the final straw. All of them were finally invested in this. Getting that world would be the first step, the first step to changing anything. Conquering that world and placing it under the leash of Oblivion’s Embrace will change their power level. Leverage will finally come into their hands.
And along with it, the other factions would finally have to start moving to get close to them or compete with them. So, holding the atmosphere in his hands, Azrail tapped on the table, his rhythm filling up the place as he spoke.
"Not bad for a first-time movement, is it?"
His words now held power over the table.
