CHAPTER 302: CHAPTER 301-A MEETING WITH VALENCIA

Azrail stretched his body as he got up from the bed, the morning light filtering through the windows of his room in the Yun manor, everything was calm but his mind was racing with all the new info he got from Oblivion’s Embrace, the deal with Seraphel was set and now it was time to share it with the ones that mattered, he couldn’t keep everything to himself, especially not with Valencia, she was his now, her mind sharp as a blade would help in making better plans.

’She would be perfect for this’

Azrail mused as he walked out of his room. The servants bowed as he passed, their eyes filled with respect and a bit of fear; after all, he was no longer the weak young master. He headed towards the courtyard where he knew Valencia would be. She liked the quiet places to think, her pink hair flowing in the wind as she sat there, but he knew she wasn’t alone. Raena was always with her, the powerful woman with those blood red eyes that saw through everything.

Soon he reached the place, the garden filled with flowers but none as beautiful as the two there, Valencia sat on a stone bench, her pink hair tied in a loose ponytail, her eyes calm but sharp, she wore a light dress that hugged her figure, her chest rising softly with each breath, beside her was Raena, looking like a goddess with her seductive smile, her pink hair longer, her red eyes gleaming with that dangerous light, she was dressed in a robe that showed her curves, both of them turned as Azrail approached.

Valencia Ewald, the Heavenly Eyes, the strategist whom everyone in his book had called the devil with silk hair. She turned before he spoke, golden eyes staring right into him, not really him, but past him, through him, at his fate line.

"You’ve been busy."

Azrail didn’t flinch; he let the smirk deepen, walking forward.

"Wouldn’t you like to know~"

Her lips quirked, but before she could reply, a second presence stirred. The faint shimmer of silver, behind Valencia, another figure forming, the vague outline of an older woman, features regal, moonlight pressing into her hair, her body faint but her eyes clear, the space had also been sealed off.

Adria.

The royal moon elf, the Fate Seeker, the one stuck inside Valencia’s body.

"Don’t waste words," Adria’s voice cut through, colder, heavier. "You met Seraphel, didn’t you? You saw her halls, her hands, the divisions."

Azrail chuckled low, moving to sit. Azrail started to explain everything, from the moment he entered Oblivion’s Embrace, the meeting with Seraphel, the tour with Lyx, and the data centres that held all the secrets of the cosmos.

"Its like a web of shadows, they control info, whispers that can topple empires, the levels, common operatives at bottom, then Veil Watchers who decide what stays and what goes, Whisper Blades that infiltrate and twist, Obscura that orchestrate the big falls, and Seraphel at top, the Pillar of Silence, she holds it all under Thanatos but she has her own kingdom."

Azrail spoke, his words flowing; he didn’t miss a detail. The All-realm, where inhibitions are lower, young masters spilling secrets, the chaos division that breeds trouble at the right time, he saw Valencia’s eyes light up, her mind already working. Raena leaned forward, her red eyes flashing.

"This is big, boy, you got in deep."

Raena said, her tone with a hint of approval, she wasn’t just a mother, she was a survivor, her past in that cage, the pain, it made her see angles others missed, she had powers too, her bloodline strong, controlling and seductive.

"Yes, the deal with Seraphel, we hold each other’s weaknesses, equal ground. I plan to insert my loyal ones, the mind-controlled, into the factions, not as spies but to build control from inside, using Nayan’s contracts, the rare products flowing to me."

Azrail continued, explaining his risky moves, why he chose this path, the book of Heavenly Opposers giving him secrets of pantheons, the blessing from Death itself, making Oblivion’s Embrace a perfect start.

"But it’s dangerous, those old relics are cunning, one slip and hunted everywhere."

He added, his eyes narrowing, Valencia nodded, her pink hair swaying, she spoke, her voice calm but sharp.

"You did good, but we can make it better. The insertions, don’t put all in one division, spread them, common operatives first, they unnoticed, gather small info, build up, then move to Veil Watchers, control what remembered, that’s power."

She said, her intelligence shining, Azrail smiled, That’s why he came to her, Raena chuckled, her seductive voice filling the air.

"Smart girl, but listen to this old one, I know shadows, in my past, locked in cage, I learned to manipulate from nothing, use the chaos division careful, incite small troubles first, test waters, see who reacts, Seraphel has grudge on Thanatos, feed it slow, make her think its her idea to move against him."

Raena spoke, her red eyes deep with memory, the pain of her life, the sect that broke her, the father that left, it made her master of webs; she could see the strings, her abilities, the bloodline that charmed and controlled, she was perfect for this.

"Yes, and the Obscura, they are unseen, but if we get one in, that’s the key, orchestrate from top, but start low, build loyalty, my bloodline can help, charm the weak ones, make them ours without mind control, less risk of detection."

Raena continued, her plan was better. Azrail nodded, taking it in. He felt the excitement, this was building his empire, Valencia added.

"And the data centres, access them slowly, don’t take big, small leaks first, build your own centre here, in Yun manor, hidden, use my mind to sort, I can see patterns, predict moves."

She said, her eyes on Azrail, possessive too, she was his, and he hers, the bond strong, Azrail felt the warmth, but his mind was cold, calculating.

"I didn’t just see them, I got the details. The All-Realm, the operatives, the Veil Watchers, Whisper Blades, the Obscura, even the Chaos Division. I walked through all of it with Lyx on my side, and trust me, it’s not just a faction anymore, it’s a damn empire under Thanatos’ nose. A kingdom made of whispers."

Valencia’s eyes didn’t blink; she tilted her head the smallest bit, golden irises shimmering as fate strands rippled. "And Seraphel?"

Azrail’s smirk faded to a line, his gaze sharpening.

"She’s not his cleaner, she’s his master. Without her, Thanatos would be blind, deaf, and naked. And she knows it. She doesn’t just erase dirt, she builds kingdoms of shadow under his feet. He calls her the Pillar of Silence, but what she really is... is the throat holding the knife."

The words hung there, sharp and heavy, Valencia watching him with those knowing eyes. She didn’t speak, not yet; instead, Adria’s voice pressed forward.

"That makes sense," Adria murmured, her phantom form stepping out further, threads of moonlight weaving around her. "Seraphel always had that streak, the ability to let others believe they held the crown while she built the throne under them. She hated Thanatos even before the fall. Now she wears the hate hidden behind her smiles"

Azrail raised an eyebrow at that, his eyes flicking to Adria. "So you knew?"

"I suspected," Adria admitted, her gaze heavy. "But suspicion is wind. You’ve brought stone."

Valencia finally spoke again, her tone smooth, almost too smooth. "Then tell me everything, Azrail. Every detail Lyx showed you, every word Seraphel spoke, every shadow that moved in those halls."

Azrail exhaled slow, before speaking, his words rolling. Valencia’s eyes glowed, threads vibrating harder around her. Adria’s phantom leaned forward, intensity sharp.

Then Valencia smiled. It wasn’t warm, it wasn’t soft. It was dangerous.

"I expected nothing less from her. Seraphel always knew how to hide a kingdom behind a shadow. But you..." she tilted her head, her gaze piercing Azrail. "You walked in, you walked out, and you still live. That means she sees use in you. And that, Azrail, makes you dangerous."

’This is good, better than I thought’

He mused, the four of them talked more, hours passing, Raena providing twists from her past, how she survived hell, manipulated guards even in chains, her seductive power breaking wills, Valencia with her genius, seeing holes in plans, filling them and Adria drinking it all in.

"We can use Hera too, she plays her role, in her eyes you are already making your plays to help her, you need to use what he is laying down for you to work with, also you need to add your family more into this."

Azrail said, Raena smiled dangerously.

"Yes, and I can teach them tricks, make them unbreakable."

The plans grew, detailed, the garden filled with their voices, the wind carrying secrets, Azrail felt the power rising; this was the start, from lower heavens to cosmic, he would oppose all.

But deep, he knew risks, Seraphel not a fool, Lyx watching, but with these two, Valencia and Raena, the pink ones as he called them in mind, they would win.

Soon the talk wound down, Valencia leaned on him, her head on his shoulder, and Raena watched with fond eyes.
