CHAPTER 139: CHAPTER 139 A PLAN TO ESCAPE III

"You have been a bad, bad boy, because tell me why you didn’t let me know you’re pregnant," Matt asked, smacking his lips.

"Afraid I will kill them? C’mon, I’m not that despicable. At least I’ll fry you alive before then." He let out a sadistic laugh.

Nicole watched with chilling interest, her dark eyelashes blinking continuously as she chewed her gum.

"So, what’s the next plan? Everything is going smoothly, and Xylander is currently in a coma. Soon, when he wakes, the corps will come and bundle him up for attempted murder and sexual violations," she cackled evilly.

"And only by marrying me and divorcing this twink will he ever be free. Just imagine the downfall of the famous billionaire — all his company investors will run off, he’ll turn broke, and every one of his properties will go in my name. There’s nothing he’ll do about it." She began to laugh as both she and Matt joined in the eerie laughter.

Daniel felt a subtle chill. Xylander was going to lose everything and get framed, even pushed into getting married to that young monster. Why couldn’t these ladies let him be? First it was Beatrice Bradford, who kept hovering around Draven; now it was this one, an annoying ex that didn’t know when to give up if someone didn’t want you.

"Speechless? Previously you were sputtering nonsense and saying shit about me. Now let’s see what happens when I become the new owner of the company and multi-billion deals — you’ll have no choice but to bow to me," Nicole declared. Daniel’s stone-like expression faced her, and he faked a smile.

He then shook his head.

In her brainless mind, he wasn’t going to bow down to her even if she was the last specie on earth. He would rather die than do so.

"You won’t take down Xylander because you lost before you began," Daniel spat, but Nicole just shrugged it away.

"Watch me do it then. Watch me..." she strutted away with her handbag on her shoulder while Matt followed behind like a brainless dog.

Daniel knew he was in bigger danger than ever, but he couldn’t help but wonder who called the shots — could it be Nicole or Matt? The answer right now could help him with his plan.

Alexander, meanwhile, had been relocated, and Daniel couldn’t help but cry when the body was moved. He knew the guy was still alive but unconscious due to too much loss of blood, which was way too much.

He couldn’t cry anymore, as it seemed happiness was far from him. There never seemed to be a day when nemesis wouldn’t come to catch up with him, but his destiny was in his hands now. Thanks to Alex, he was reminded of the type of person he was. Daniel didn’t wait to get rescued; he took matters into his own hands. From his observation, Matt was indeed with the key embedded as a necklace right at his neck.

Now it was left to him to get close and get it. While he was thinking, he got distracted by their conversation.

"He’s turning out of hand. We brought him here to help us bring down Daniel and Xylander, and now that he’s doing it, he’s refusing to go down, saying he’ll continue to live as Daniel — that he loves the luxury too much. As we speak, he’s taken over Xylander’s company," Nicole angrily poured out her frustration.

Matt just listened to the rant and shook his head.

"Easy — just kill him. Isn’t he just a countryside boy from the slums with nothing to show for it?" Matt asked, and Nicole just shook her head.

"Not that way. He’s cunning, and right now he’s threatening me — saying if I don’t let him be, he’ll expose me to the whole world and the internet," Nicole exclaimed, tired and frustrated.

Matt picked up a file on the table and pushed it towards Nicole.

"That’s his family right now, and their pathetic lives. He’ll come back to his right senses," Matt informed, and Nicole sighed.

"That’s if he gives a shit about his family. I tried it — currently one of his siblings was shot and taken to the hospital for treatment. They’ve been calling, but he refused any help and won’t bat an eye if either of them gets finished at this spot," Nicole revealed, and Matt scowled.

"You said he’ll be obedient. Better fix this, Nicole. And remember one thing — those houses, properties, and money must get to me. No mistakes. If that doesn’t happen, then I’ll have to cut you off, Nicole." He ended the conversation there and walked away.

Nicole fumed with fury. Why are all Daniels a pain in the ass?

Daniel, after hearing that, felt his expression turning more and more sour. Someone replaced him and looked like him? That was impossible. He wouldn’t believe it till he saw it with his own eyes. There was nothing like a doppelganger — it just wasn’t logical.

Minutes passed, and Nicole finally left, but not without giving Daniel a mocking look and a middle finger. Daniel laughed at the display. Only if she knew that, not too long from now, he would come for her and kill her off, ending her worthless life.

Matt walked to the dining table to do something, and while he was there, Daniel began to moan.

Wriggling on the chair, another moan slipped out from his mouth.

Matt looked at where Daniel sat and gave him a questioning stare.

"Can’t you see that I’m up to something? Unless you want to die tonight — I might leave the early-morning kill I planned," Matt sneered and turned back to his work. But Daniel wasn’t deterred.

He had to get what he wanted, and that meant escaping at all cost — today.

"I am, in my heart... I just want to fuck so badly," Daniel revealed, wriggling continuously on the chair. The rolling finally took effect; Matt had had enough.

"You want to do it so badly? Then let’s do it," he growled. And right there, he slammed his lips on his before digging his hands underneath Daniel’s shirt, tracing his bare skin.

Yes — this was it. Soon, he would get what he wanted.
