Xiao Ruolan, on the other hand, raised her right hand, clenched all her fingers except her index finger, which she pointed in front of her and then slashed it towards the incoming fireball like a sword. In that instant, her entire internal energy was focused on the tip of her finger, even illuminating the dark surroundings like a lamp.

Lin Wan, on the other hand, was the one without any flashy techniques. She had just recently stepped into the realm of Vein Expansion, and that too with the help of Yang Ze’s physique. She was still lacking powerful techniques. She could only pour all her internal energy crudely, forming a thin, white, translucent screen in front of him.

Even though it takes time to explain, it all happened in an instant. From the masked woman conjuring a fireball and throwing it towards the three women, to them unleashing their secret arts to defend.

Yang Ze only saw a blur as the fireball exploded in front of the three women. Even though the fireball was small, the power of the explosion was anything but ordinary. Even from a distance, Yang Ze felt the immense shockwave as his body was flung away like a doll.

He barely raised his head when he saw the three figures similarly flying back before hitting the ground and lying there motionless, with their life and death unknown.

’Damn it.’ Yang Ze’s scalp was tingling. For a moment, he was even beginning to have doubts about the system’s ability to display a personal panel.

After all, how could a mother treat her own daughter like this?

This wasn’t playful... it was an attack with the intent of killing them all.

"MOTHER." It was Lin Wan who shouted at the top of her lungs.

Looking at her mother’s figure appearing behind the masked woman with an expressionless face, Lin Wan almost shed tears of joy. She finally doesn’t need to worry about herself or Lin Yue, or Xiao Ruolan. With her mother here, they were already safe.
