Her Marriage: The Night is Still Young
Chapter 4: Besides Tormenting Her in Bed, He’s Skilled at Emotional Abuse
CHAPTER 4: CHAPTER 4: BESIDES TORMENTING HER IN BED, HE’S SKILLED AT EMOTIONAL ABUSE
The black Rolls-Royce Phantom pulled up in front of the lawn.
Once it stopped.
The bodyguards in black suits immediately stepped forward and respectfully opened the car door.
"Hello, President Gallagher."
Nathaniel Gallagher was the first to get out of the car.
He was still wearing the robe he had worn when he went out yesterday, with dark circles under his eyes and a somewhat haggard complexion.
After getting out of the car.
He walked around to the other side of the car, bent down, and got into the car. Then, as if he were holding a fragile rare treasure, he carefully carried Vivian Shaw out of the car.
Vivian Shaw was also wearing a thin nightgown, her small, frail body clinging tightly to his chest.
Her arms hung softly around his neck, her little face resting on his shoulder, intimate and natural.
Josephine Thompson saw this, and her heart was inexplicably blocked, filled with unspeakable annoyance and irritation.
When she married Nathaniel Gallagher, Vivian Shaw had been sent to Brelland for her studies. It was only a year ago that she completed her studies and returned.
Before the marriage, Josephine Thompson had repeatedly asked Nathaniel Gallagher if he had any ex-girlfriend he couldn’t forget, and each time he had firmly answered no. It was only after confirming that he had no emotional ties that she agreed to marry him.
And now...
He had clearly hidden his romantic past before marriage.
Seeing Vivian Shaw return, Henry Gallagher ran over excitedly, "Auntie Vivian, you’re finally back, I thought you weren’t coming back."
Nathaniel Gallagher quickly avoided his son, "Sweetie, don’t touch Auntie Vivian, she’s sick, and Daddy needs to take her inside."
"What’s wrong with Auntie Vivian? Did the bad mommy bully her?"
Vivian Shaw looked weak, resting on Nathaniel Gallagher’s shoulder feebly, "Auntie is fine. Once Auntie is better, she’ll play with you again."
"It’s windy outside, let me take you inside first..." Nathaniel Gallagher’s voice was soft, as if coaxing a child.
Vivian Shaw looked at him pitifully.
Their eye contact almost seemed to weave threads of emotion, "Hmm~ thank you, Nathaniel. It’s all my fault for being so weak, always getting sick. It made Nathaniel worry all night and not sleep; I feel so guilty."
"Don’t think too much, just stay here and rest well. Once you’re better, you can go to the company."
Mrs. Dixon saw the two of them return and immediately started wailing to complain, "Oh dear, young master, Vivian, you’re back."
"If you hadn’t come back, I would have been beaten to death by the young mistress. At my age, I still have to suffer blows; I have no place to put my old face anymore, young master, I can’t stay in The Gallagher Family any longer."
Mrs. Dixon sobbed and wailed while slapping her own face in a fit of madness.
Nathaniel Gallagher and Vivian Shaw were startled and quickly inquired, "Mom, Mrs. Dixon, what happened?"
Mrs. Dixon cried with tears and snot, as if she had suffered great humiliation, trembling all over as she pointed at Josephine Thompson, "Young master, I can’t face anyone anymore."
"The young mistress looks down on me and can’t stand me. She wants to drive me away, and she hit me, just now she slapped me twice."
"I’ve lived to this age, and it’s the first time I’ve been slapped in the face, I really can’t live with this shame!"
Nathaniel Gallagher listened, looking shocked at Josephine Thompson, "Josephine, what’s going on? Did you really hit Mrs. Dixon?"
Josephine Thompson looked at him coldly, her voice even colder, "I did. Why don’t you ask her what ’good deeds’ she has done?"
Nathaniel Gallagher frowned, speaking sharply, "Regardless of what Mrs. Dixon did wrong, she’s very old, and you shouldn’t have hit her. You’re getting more and more excessive and unreasonable."
Vivian Shaw’s eyes turned red, and tears immediately fell, her thin lips trembling, "Nathaniel, sister-in-law must be jealous of me, that’s why she took it out on my mom."
"Nathaniel, please put me down, so sister-in-law won’t argue with you because of me."
With that, she twisted her petite, delicate body, trying to break free from his arms.
Nathaniel Gallagher frowned even more tightly, holding her closer with a mix of indulgence and reprimand, "Don’t move, you’re misbehaving again. The doctor said you need to rest in bed and can’t exert yourself."
Hearing this, Vivian Shaw looked like a chastised little rabbit, sobbing even more pitifully, "Nathaniel, I really don’t want to cause you to argue because of me."
After saying this, she looked at Josephine Thompson with teary eyes, speaking insidiously, "Sister-in-law, take any resentment you have out on me, don’t target my mom. She’s too old to endure your difficulties."
"I know you hate me, once I’m healed, I’ll leave The Gallagher Family immediately."
Josephine Thompson listened, the raging anger in her heart unable to be released.
Vivian Shaw’s ’tea art’.
She couldn’t learn it even if she tried for a lifetime, nor did she want to.
"You’re overthinking; just stay here as long as you like."
After finishing, Josephine Thompson really didn’t want to look at them any longer and turned to leave.
Seeing this, Nathaniel Gallagher’s face darkened completely, "Josephine, stop right there, apologize to Mrs. Dixon immediately. Otherwise, you know the consequences."
Besides being oppressive in bed, Nathaniel Gallagher.
He was also very skilled in cold violence, torturing her mentally.
The longest period of cold violence lasted three months where he didn’t speak to her. Every time, she was the one to first lower her head and appease him.
This time, he seemed to plan to use the same old tricks.
However, Josephine Thompson refused to indulge him anymore this time.
"The consequences no longer matter, enough talk, let’s get a divorce!" Josephine Thompson said calmly, pulling out a divorce agreement from her bag.
She then handed it in front of him.
"I’ve already signed the divorce papers; check if there’s anything else to add? Later, I’ll have my lawyer talk to you about the custody issue."
