CHAPTER 281: OVERWHELMING POWER

Saradon didn’t seem to react to the balls that appeared around him.

In fact, it seemed like he was completely ignoring everything that I was doing as he continued gathering flames in his mouth.

It didn’t seem like he thought that I would be able to pose any threat to him with how he acted, but he was completely wrong.

When the beam that I shot at him hit him in the stomach, there were a few flames that leaked from his mouth as he gave a grunt. The beam didn’t actually penetrate through the thick scales on his stomach, but it was clear that this beam had an effect on Saradon.

One that he certainly didn’t expect.

But he quickly recovered since the only thing that the beam had done was knock the wind out of him. Just because the wind had been knocked out of him, it wasn’t as if the flames that he had gathered so far had leaked.

As such, he was still able to release the same flame breath as before.

However, it wasn’t as if I was going to let him.

There was a reason why there were these balls of energy that had gathered all around Saradon.

Once they had finished charging energy and gathering power, they suddenly started releasing different attacks at him.

There were bolts of lightning, pillars of water, waves of flames, and other different applications of mana in the form of elemental energy. It didn’t seem like there was an end to all of these attacks with how they surged in waves.

Saradon didn’t seem to worry about this until the first attack hit him.

It didn’t penetrate through his scales, but he had been knocked off balance by the force of this attack. And it wasn’t just a single attack that hit him, it was multiple attacks that came from all around him.

So Saradon had no choice but to protect himself by releasing the flames.

Even though he hadn’t finished gathering flames, he sent it down at me.

He knew that I was the one that was attacking him, so he was trying to use these flames to take me down. He wanted to stop me from gathering mana to use these attacks against him.

It was just that even though I was casting these spells, I was still able to easily dodge out of the way of these flames.

The only thing that the flames hit was the ground.

"You pest! Stop this!" Saradon roared all of a sudden, releasing a pressure that eased the onslaught that he was facing. This roar released a pressure that pushed back a few of the attacks that came at him, but it wasn’t enough to stop everything.

During the free moment that he had, Saradon’s body was suddenly covered in this black shimmer.

It seemed like he was gathering his power for a full force charge as he suddenly dived down at where I was.

This time, I didn’t dodge out of the way and instead flew right up at him.

While I flew at him, I had transformed my body so that it was covered in muscles. If one looked closely, they would be able to see this metallic glean that was coming from me.

I didn’t hesitate as I charged right at Saradon diving me with my arms crossed.

When the two of us hit each other, there was the sound of metal clashing that rang out.

It wasn’t strange for Saradon to be making this kind of sound since the scales of a dragon were as hard as metal in the first place.

It was strange for me to be making this sound since I was imitating a human’s body.

Even without imitating it, I was a slime to begin with and shouldn’t have had a hard body anyway. A slime’s specialty was its flexible body that could absorb all kinds of blows after all.

But I was able to match Saradon’s dive and eventually even push him back.

"How is this possible? How could a lowly slime be this strong?!" Saradon seemed like he was on the verge of collapse at this rate with how he couldn’t believe what was happening.

While he was losing his mind like this, I didn’t waste any time as I jumped off the ground and soared into the sky above him. Then with a single kick off in the air, I flew down at Saradon with my arms crossed.

"Oof!" Saradon was completely winded when he was hit with this blow and was slammed into the ground.

As he laid there sprawled on the ground, he really didn’t have the prestige that a dragon would have.

While he was laying there, I continued releasing all kinds of spells to bombard him from different angles. But even if I was shooting these spells from different angles, I was also concentrating them in single spots to continuously hit Saradon.

I wanted to use this chance to see if I could penetrate through his scales.

Eventually, the damage was enough and there was blood that was drawn.

As soon as that blood was drawn, I immediately used a certain ability to draw that blood in and take it into my stomach. This was a drop of blood from a dragon with a proper bloodline, it was a rare chance to obtain something like this.

Saradon really wasn’t able to do anything as he tried to fight back, but he kept being bombarded by the attacks that I released.

Eventually, he couldn’t do anything other than hold his head and protect himself.

Iris, who was watching from the side, couldn’t stop the complicated feeling from filling her as she muttered to herself, "He was this strong all along?"

After a while, she thought, "I wouldn’t be able to do anything against this barrage of attacks either. If I was fighting him now, I would be in the same position..."

The only way to describe it was that I was completely overwhelming Saradon.
