CHAPTER 562: CHAPTER 563: WHERE IS THE TRUTH?
That night, Bao Jinpeng took a private plane back to the Bao Family Manor’s helipad.
Accompanying him was his personal female housekeeper, Han Bing.
She was a woman in her fifties, although quiet and reserved, she was meticulous in taking care of Bao Jinpeng, and her father always took Han Bing wherever he went.
Han Xiaoyue was Han Bing’s son.
"Father, didn’t you say you’d return to the country in a few days?"
Bo Sishen seemed a bit surprised to see his father back early.
"Ah Shen, where is the child that woman gave birth to?" Bao Jinpeng was no longer reliant on a wheelchair; he could walk, but needed Han Bing’s support.
"Father, are you about to tell me if I have a half-brother?" Bo Sishen raised an eyebrow, noting his father’s anxiety about the child.
Bao Jinpeng paused and said, "Ah Shen..."
"Aunt Han, please leave. My father and I have matters to discuss." Bo Sishen interrupted Bao Jinpeng and addressed Han Bing.
Bao Jinpeng and Han Bing exchanged a knowing glance, but Han Bing looked somewhat puzzled.
"Xiao Han, you’ve been taking care of me on the close quarters plane and must be tired. Go rest, Ah Shen and I will talk." Bao Jinpeng said to Han Bing.
"Yes, sir." Han Bing nodded and left.
Only Bo Sishen and Bao Jinpeng were left in the living room.
Bo Sishen poured tea for Bao Jinpeng and said softly, "Father, if you have an illegitimate child, why hide it?"
Bao Jinpeng took a deep breath, accepted the tea cup Bo Sishen offered, took a sip, and said, "Ah Shen, I only have you and your elder brother."
"Oh, really? Then why does Gu Junru’s child have more than sixty percent kinship DNA with me? I clearly remember not having any contact with her or donating any sperm, so how could she be pregnant with my child?"
Bao Jinpeng looked at Bo Sishen, "Ah Shen, do you think your father is lying to you?"
"Father, what is the truth?" Bo Sishen asked coldly.
"The truth is there is no illegitimate child; whether you believe it or not, there’s no such thing," Bao Jinpeng said, drinking all the tea from the cup and placing it on the tea table, speaking in a low voice.
Bo Sishen remained silent for a while, then said, "Father, if you don’t explain clearly, the relationship between Nian Nian and me will end here."
"What did you say?" Bao Jinpeng asked in disbelief.
"Gu Junru’s child is a barrier between Nian Nian and me. If we divorce, it’s because you won’t reveal the truth, but I’ll tell you, father, I won’t let these matters separate me from Nian Nian."
Bo Sishen’s eyes were resolute, and he spoke seriously.
Bao Jinpeng’s eyes flickered, and after a while, he looked at Bo Sishen and said, "Ah Shen, do you always have to be so aggressive? I am your father; do you doubt my words?"
Bo Sishen lost patience as well, standing up with a cold glare, "Father, if you don’t tell me, I’ll find another way to uncover the truth. Do you want me to hear it from you directly or find out through other means?"
"The truth is there is no illegitimate child!" Bao Jinpeng said, furrowing his brows tightly.
"Oh, really?" Bo Sishen asked coldly, lowering his eyes to look at Bao Jinpeng, "Father, what is your relationship with the female housekeeper Aunt Han?" Bo Sishen asked coldly.
