CHAPTER 383: CHAPTER 383 SLEEPYHEAD

Leo watched every tiny shift in Bella’s expression. Her lashes fluttered like sleepy butterfly wings, her cheeks still pink from everything he had done to her. He leaned down, unable to resist, and pressed slow kisses along her collarbone, soft, lingering kisses that traced the delicate line of her skin, while his hands continued to rub her warm, soft curves through the fabric of her bra.

Bella breathed out a tiny sound, her chest rising into his palms, but her eyelids began to droop despite the heat between them. She blinked, tried to open them wider, and failed.

"Leo..." she mumbled, shaking her head weakly, her voice melting into pure innocence.

He hummed against her skin, not stopping until she gently touched his arm.

"I am sleepy..." she whispered, her eyes half closed now, her body sinking deeper into the mattress.

Leo froze for a moment, then exhaled through his nose in a quiet, helpless sigh. He wanted her. God, he wanted her in every way a man could want a woman. But his bunny was fighting her sleep like a child, blinking slowly, trying so hard to stay awake for him.

"Alright, bunny," he murmured, brushing a kiss on her cheek, "go to sleep."

He reached up, pulled aside the sheer golden drapes hanging around the bed, and switched off the lights until the room glowed only faintly with moonlight. When he turned back, she was already asleep. Small, soft, curled slightly to the side as if she trusted the world with her whole heart.

He stared at her for a long moment, the ache in his chest matching the ache much lower in his body.

"Unbelievable," he muttered under his breath.

He slid down beside her and, unable to resist, pulled her gently into his arms. Her warm, delicate body fit against him perfectly, her breath brushing his neck in tiny puffs that made his throat tighten. Her tummy was bare where her bra had ridden up a little, and when she shifted in sleep, her soft skin pressed right against him.

Leo clenched his jaw hard.

It was torture.

He pulled her closer, closer than he should, so her body shaped into his, and he felt his entire lower half throb painfully. His bulge pressed directly against her warm tummy, and she did not even know what she was doing to him. She just sighed softly and tucked herself deeper into his arms, her small hand resting near his chest as if she belonged there.

The ache in his stomach tightened, the tension pulling low and heavy, almost unbearable as he rubbed himself lightly against her softness, desperately trying to calm the need roaring through him. Her warmth, her scent, her little sleeping sounds, everything made him want to lose control.

But she was sleeping. His bunny. His innocent, soft, tired girl.

So he held her tighter, pressed his face into her hair, breathing in the comfort she did not even know she was giving him while the fire in his body burned painfully slow in the dark.

Leo lowered his face into her hair, letting the soft strands brush over his lips as he breathed her in deeply. Her scent wrapped around him, warm, faintly sweet, something that felt like comfort and temptation mixed together, and the moment it filled his lungs, something inside him snapped a little more.

He closed his eyes, letting the tip of his nose trace along her hairline, slow and deliberate. Each inhale made his chest tighten, made the ache in his stomach sharpen, made his entire body grow unbearably tense. She was soft everywhere, pressed against him so innocently, her breath warm against his throat. And she had no idea how much she was affecting him.

He shifted just a little, unable to stop himself, his hips brushing against her tummy. The friction shot heat straight through him, his breath stuttering quietly against her head. His hand slid down her back, resting on her waist as if he needed to anchor himself, but it only made him feel her warmth more clearly. She curled closer in her sleep, her thigh brushing his leg, and a low groan escaped him before he could swallow it.

His eyes opened again, darker than before, pupils wide in the dim light.

She did not even know how she was testing every limit he had.

He rubbed against her again, slower this time, trying to ease the painful pressure that had built inside him. Her soft tummy met him perfectly, warm and yielding, and his pulse hammered against his ribs. He buried his face in her hair once more, breathing her in like he needed her scent to stay sane, letting the smell of her drown his restraint inch by inch.

"Bunny..." he whispered, voice low and rough, almost a growl against her ear.

But she only sighed sleepily, nuzzling into his chest, trusting him completely.

And Leo’s eyes darkened until there was almost no light left in them at all, his self control hanging by a single, trembling thread as he held her tighter and rubbed against her warmth again, slowly, helplessly, wanting more than he should.

Bella shifted in her sleep, her brows drawing together as if something was disturbing her warm, cozy dream. She felt a strange heat pressing against her lower stomach, firm and persistent, nudging her like an unwelcome guest. Still half asleep, she let out a tiny grumble and reached down with her small hand, fingers brushing that heated bulge through the blanket.

Without thinking, without understanding, she tried to push it away like it was some stubborn pillow in her way.

Leo froze.

A violent shiver ran down his spine, every muscle in his body tightening at once. His breath caught sharply in his throat, and for a moment he could not even think. Her soft hand touching him there, even through the fabric, it shot through him like fire.

He bit back a sound, jaw clenching as he grabbed her wrist gently but quickly, stopping her before she unknowingly destroyed the last sliver of control he had.

"Bunny..." he muttered under his breath, voice rough and strained, nothing like his usual calm tone.

She did not wake, only mumbled something sleepy and turned her face against his chest again, her lips brushing his skin like a warm flicker of temptation.

Leo shut his eyes tightly, forcing himself to take a deep, painful breath. He swallowed hard, trying to calm the storm crashing through him, but his body was not listening. The place where she touched him throbbed with heat, and the ache only grew sharper.

"Don’t..." he whispered in a broken hush, burying his forehead in her hair as he tried to steady himself. "Don’t touch me like that when you are asleep..."

He let out another low curse under his breath, pulling her small hand safely up to his chest, trapping it there beneath his fingers so she could not wander again.

But even then, her body curled closer into him on instinct, the soft pressure of her warmth fitting perfectly against every place he was trying to control.

Leo breathed out shakily.

Tonight was going to be very, very long.
