Early the next day, Marissa invited Tessa out for some afternoon tea, and they

    decided to meet at a five-star hotel.

    When Tessa arrived, Marissa and Summer were chatting. Upon seeing Tessa,

    Marissa smiled and stood up. "Tess, you''re here."

    Tessa hummed in acknowledgement and nced at Summer.

    Summer pursed her lips, stood up, and extended her hand to shake Tessa''s hand.

    She then said sincerely, "Ms. Yates, allow me to formally introduce myself. I''m

    Summer Heatherson from Sableton. I was wrong for my behavior on the cruise

    Sableton? Heatherson?

    Tessa looked at her and asked, "You''re the daughter of the Heatherson family

    from Sableton?"

    The Heathersons from Sableton were a powerful and wealthy family. They had a

    son and a daughter. Their oldest son was currently the CEO of Heatherson

    Group.

    Tessa had even met him some time ago at a banquet.

    She had heard that the Heathersons also had a daughter, but their daughter was

    living abroad and rarely came back home. Hence, Tessa had never met her.

    Summer nodded. "That''s me. I was too impulsivest time, and I made mistakes.

    Tessa shook Summer''s hand and nodded. "Hello, Ms. Heatherson. It''s a pleasure

    to meet you."

    "I''m so happy that you''re able to forgive me! Marissa was right. You''re indeed a

    reasonable and easy-going person," Summer said with a smile.

    Heatherson Group had joined the Fortune Global 500 list. A few days ago,

    Samuel and Reece Heatherson, Summer''s brother, had been talking about the

    prospects of a coboration at a banquet.

    Heatherson Group and Yates Corporation might cooperate in the future, so Tessa

    did not think there was a need to make Summer an enemy.

    Besides, Summer''s apologetic attitude was sincere. It looked like she genuinely

    understood that she had made a mistake, and with Marissa mediating between

    them, Tessa decided to give her a chance.

    Tessa pulled out a chair and sat down.

    to Bruno? I heard that it was quite

    "I have a friend who knows him and went to visit him. Although they told me they

    had visited him, I know they just wanted to join in on the drama.

    She didn''t care to ask either.

    Summer added with a nod

    As she spoke, she pointed to her pants, and Tessa immediately understood.

    Shock filled Marissa''s face before she clicked her tongue. "Stephen''s really

    Marissa nodded. "I did hear a few things about it, but not in detail. I can only tell

    Summer questioned, "Reputation? Did he even have one? If it weren''t for how

    "His father is third in rank in Sudmere. Bruno''s only parading outside of jail

    because of his father''s prestigious position and high authority."

    Then, Marissa said, "I heard from my dad that Bruno''s dad, Adrian Tatum, has

    been taken away by the police and is under investigation."

    "That quickly?" Tessa questioned.

    "Oh my God. Seriously?" Summer eximed.
