His Unveiled Passion
Chapter 516
Stephen replied, "Alright. I''ll listen to whatever you say."
After Stephen had finished massaging Tessa''s shoulders, he had her sit up and lean back on the couch while he started to massage her calves.
"Is the pressure alright?" Stephen asked attentively, acting like a professional masseur.
Tessa smiled and answered, "It''s fine."
Stephen''s hands were strong, so the entire massage was very rxing. Tessay back on the couch and enjoyed Stephen''s gentle but firm touch.
She continued to look through the photos and said, "Mrs. Jacobson spoke to me about the wedding just now."
"Mrs. Jacobson? You mean my mom?" Stephen looked up at her and smirked.
Then, he said nonchntly, "Was Mrs. Jacobson''s bribe notrge enough for you to change the way you address her?"
"I meant to say Sophia. It was just a small slip of the tongue. Don''t you dare tell her about it." Tessa smiled abashedly.
Stephen chuckled. "So what did my mom say?"
"She said she had a fortune teller pick a good date for us. We''ll need to register our marriage tomorrow, and the wedding will take approximately two months to prepare," Tessa said.
Then, she added, "I think it''ll be best if we hold our wedding after Independence Day. By then, it''ll be autumn, and the weather will be much cooler. Outdoor weddings during the summer are sweltering."
Stephen did not hesitate as he massaged Tessa''s calf and replied, "Sure. We''ll do as you say. We can hold our wedding whenever and wherever you want."
Smiling, Tessa turned to him and asked, "What if I want to hold it on the moon?"
"Sure. There''s already a precedent fornding on the moon. If you want to hold our wedding on the moon, I can make the necessary arrangements.
"When the timees, we''ll wear our astronaut suits and have a uniquely romantic wedding on the moon," Stephen said without hesitation.
Tessa smiled and punched him yfully. "You''re being ridiculous. I was just joking with you."
The verdict for Mike''s case was finally out. To no surprise, they had won.
However, the defendant ran away with the money a long time ago. Even with the favorable ruling, it would be hard to enforce.
For most people, that would have been the end of the road, and they''d sumb to their fate. However, Tessa had connections and resources in far-reaching ces. She quickly found the defendant, Bob Lowe, enjoying himself in a club.
Tessa quickly arranged for him to be hauled back to Rivertown that very night. Meanwhile, Mike and Melody had also made their way from Haverford to Rivertown.
At first, Bob was adamant about bing a judgment defaulter. He had some knowledge of thew and knew how to exploit loopholes.
He had emptied all of his ounts
and withdrawn all the funds as cash before the bank had seized his assets. He had also saved some of
the money in his family''s bank ounts.
Now, he was either making payments with cash or his family members'' cards, so court-ordered enforcement was basically useless.
Bob had initially refused toply with the court''s order to return the investment money, so Tessa handed him over to Stephen.
After suffering in Lawrence''s hands, he ended up paying back the full amount with interest.
Lucas and Jasmine got married before Tessa and Stephen could hold their wedding. Jasmine had applied for a few days off, and the wedding was held in Jasmine''s hometown.
She was born in a small county an hour''s drive from Rivertown''s city center. Tessa and Wynn, as well as most other people from theirw firm, attended Jasmine''s wedding.
On the day of the wedding, Tessa bought Jasmine a bouquet of her favourite roses. She also knew Jasmine loved gold, so she went to a jewelry store and bought her a gold bracelet as a wedding gift.
When Tessa arrived at the hotel where the wedding was being held, she immediately gave Jasmine a big hug. "Jasmine, congrattions on your wedding!"
After the hug, Tessa handed Jasmine a big envelope filled with money. "This is for
you. I hope you and Lucas will have a lifetime of happiness together."
Tears streamed down Jasmine''s cheeks as she said, "Thank you, Tessa. You''re so kind to me."
"Remember to always be happy," Tessa said with a smile.
