    I took a step forward, "Daranne...." I said, "It''s....I don''t know what to say...."

    She looked at the baby, "He''s so peaceful, isn''t he?" She said with a smile, "My precious Sylas...."

    I looked at the child, immediately realizing what this was. The baby was merely a memory of Sylas when he was born and she was holding onto said memory.     "Right...." I said as I took another step, "Daranne....he''s...not...."

    Suddenly, the baby dissolved into dust, and it floated away into nothingness.

    She let out a sigh, "He only lasts for a couple of hours...." She said as she placed her hands in her lap, "But when he comes back, he''s in the cradle, crying. It''s not a bad thing, really...."

    I walked up to her, standing over her as she looked up at me with a warm smile, "You...." I said as I reached for her cheek, "You''re....beautiful....."
