On the city wall, watching the battle below, Lu Ping’an remained quite calm.

In some sense, he was also an Outer Heaven Demon; once he transcended world constraints, he could do much more.

From the Tomb Guardian, he obtained much intel, and his scouts and warriors also brought back frontline reports.

But the treasures they ultimately brought back were quite limited….. those treasures buried deep in the earth weren’t something one could easily dig out by sending a few people.

The first to attack were the numerous Stone Monsters that had already occupied this fragment of the Plane; most were actually newborns, yet they were infused with Exotic Realm life scent from birth.

Gray and yellow Stone-men climbed over the mountains; the local inhabitants had turned into bones, instinctively attacking all fresh life forms.

But this time, they collided with the city wall, in multiple senses.
