This wasn’t just Qin Miao’s feeling, but the proficiency system training on Prema’s simulator provided more than Ferrari’s training did.

The reason is quite interesting; Prema’s simulator bought the usage rights from Ferrari’s simulator, so in some sense, Qin Miao was still using Ferrari’s simulator.

But Prema’s simulator excluded vehicle upgrade variables, only needing to calculate F2 car data and track data. The simulator’s workload was less, with fewer data to simulate, thus the variables were fewer, making the simulation accuracy and realism even higher.

However, the Prema simulator still had hardware deficits.

Ferrari’s simulator used an F1 car monocoque as the cockpit, sitting inside felt like sitting in a real F1 car with the same view and position.

And recently Qin Miao heard that the staff responsible for the simulator are planning to introduce VR glasses to further enhance the realism of the simulation.

While Prema’s simulator was the kind you could buy on the market, although expensive and with good simulation results, the immersive experience wasn’t as strong as Ferrari’s F1 team simulator.

After beginning regular work, for nearly a week Qin Miao trained on the simulator under the assistance of Frankie and Sui Wentao, attempting to test various adjustments and settings on different tracks, striving to find the configurations that suited Qin Miao’s driving style best.

To be honest, Qin Miao didn’t like this step, believing it is a wasted effort because the car he drives in the simulator isn’t the F2 car he is truly familiar with, so the simulated data may have some discrepancies. But the good news is that training on the simulator does increase Qin Miao’s proficiency with the tracks.
