CHAPTER 99: CHAPTER 100: THE VILLA BELONGS TO XINGXING (PART 1)

"Hello, my name is Ruan Xingwen. I should have an appointment, could you please check?"

Ruan Xingwen remembered that the person in charge who called him in the morning said he just needed to give his name at the front desk.

"Ah, are you Mr. Ruan? Please wait a moment, let me contact President Su for you."

Upon hearing his name, the receptionist was momentarily surprised.

The company had been buzzing these days; someone had actually won the grand prize from the collaboration lottery event with the mall!

Everyone was curious about who was so lucky.

Just this morning, she received a notice from President Su that the winner’s name was Ruan Xingwen and to contact him directly when he arrived at the company.

Sure enough, as soon as she reported Mr. Ruan’s arrival over the phone, President Su hastily hung up and rushed down.

From President Su’s demeanor, the pretty receptionist had already gathered that this Mr. Ruan Xingwen must have quite a background—quite a significant one.

Otherwise, given President Su’s status, why would he pay so much attention to a young man so unfamiliar?

The receptionist respectfully said, "Mr. Ruan, please wait a moment; President Su is on his way."

Just as she finished her sentence, Ruan Xingwen saw a short middle-aged man in a blue suit exit the elevator, looking around.

The receptionist also noticed the middle-aged man and called out respectfully, "President Su."

So this middle-aged man was the President Su he was looking for.

Ruan Xingwen stood up and extended his right hand, "Hello, President Su, I’m Ruan Xingwen."

The middle-aged man called President Su also extended his hand, but only lightly touched Ruan Xingwen’s fingertips before hurriedly withdrawing, "Hello, hello, Su Liguo."

They made their way to the elevator, just as the doors opened. A few young people came out and saw Su Liguo standing to the side, giving precedence to Ruan Xingwen.

"Ding." The elevator was fast; they reached the twenty-sixth floor in no time.

Su Liguo led Ruan Xingwen and the others out of the elevator.

The entire twenty-sixth floor had only two offices, one larger than the other. The rest of the space included meeting rooms, a tea room, and the secretary’s office area on the right side of the hall.

The largest office had a nameplate saying [CEO’s Office].

Su Liguo led them into the meeting room, "Please come in."

Once Ruan Xingwen and the others sat down, he continued, "Please wait a moment, I need to get the contract documents."

Ruan Xingwen nodded, and Su Liguo opened the door and left.

Andy, who had been holding back, finally took a deep breath when no outsiders were around, "Wow, this place is really fancy, and the service attitude is excellent. But it’s so quiet."

Ruan Xingwen tapped his forehead, "Don’t say nonsense." Excellent service attitude, does Andy think this is a restaurant?

"Xingxing, why do I feel this President Su is a bit odd?" Little Yuan hesitantly voiced her thought.

She couldn’t pinpoint what was wrong with President Su, but his attitude indeed felt strange.

Ruan Xingwen squinted his eyes; he also felt something odd about this President Su, hoping nothing untoward happens with the contract. Otherwise... he won’t be polite about it.

"Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing." Ruan Xingwen reassured, glancing at Little Yuan.

Andy, carefree, said, "Oh, what could happen? They have such a big business; they won’t cheat us out of money. Besides, we need to have money in the first place for them to cheat us."

Little Yuan looked at Ruan Xingwen questioningly. Ruan Xingwen shook his head, indicating she needn’t say more.

It was clear that Ruan Xingwen hadn’t shared his past experiences with Andy, and Little Yuan wasn’t planning to intervene between these childhood friends.

Andy didn’t notice the exchanged glances between Ruan Xingwen and them.

At this moment, the meeting room door opened, and Su Liguo returned with a folder, followed by a woman carrying a tray with several disposable cups of plain water.

The woman walked up and placed the cups in front of each person before exiting the room.

After entering, Su Liguo sat in the chair opposite Ruan Xingwen.

After the woman left, Su Liguo smiled and said, "Firstly, congratulations, Mr. Ruan, on being so fortunate to win our villa."

Ruan Xingwen responded with a smile, "Thank you."

"Then I won’t say anything else. As you know, to reside in our Binhe Bay Villa, owners go through several layers of screening. Your situation is quite an exception. So, although you only have a five-year usage right, Zerui must thoroughly understand your basic information."

"Do you think that’s okay?"

Ruan Xingwen was already aware of the special nature of the Binhu Bay Villa, so when he heard they needed to know his information, he wasn’t surprised.
