Eryndor glanced at the corpses littered all over the place, and immediately began cleaning the battlefield.

He first collected the corpses and dumped them in one place before removing all traces of his cultivation arts.

He would use the soil to cover up the tracks and the effects formed by his cultivation arts, or even put a large rock over it to cover the area.

Once he was sure he missed nothing, he approached the small hill of corpses and began processing them without stopping.

He couldn't afford to waste time because a disciple could arrive here at any second.

Eryndor never placed his safety in the hands of others.

True, those disciples didn't attack him. But what if it was because they were with Master Troy?

There was a not-so-low chance that once the master left, some of them would take the chance to head towards his location in order to get easy pickings.

Eryndor knew that their sensing range likely wouldn't be as large as his Spatial Sight's range, which meant they wouldn't necessarily know that there was a student who was about to fight an entire group of beasts alone, but he didn't want to take any risk.

After a few minutes, he had processed a large amount of parts of the six legged scaled monkeys, and put them in a bag.

Time to return to the main building once again.

As he had that thought, he didn't straight up begin walking though, but extended his Spatial Sight and sensed if there were any disciples nearby.

None.

He still didn't take a straight path back to the Training Camp, but took a long ass winding path, going through several secluded places and even rivers before ending up on the right side of the main building of Training Camp.

He did this in order to not only not encounter the disciples from the team under Master Troy, but also other disciples whoever it may be. He just had THAT high amount of loot on him.

Once he was within the campus of the Training Camp, he was safe. However, he couldn't do anything about the numerous glances which were thrown at him.

It was basically a known fact now that this disciple Clarence would have plenty of spirit coins once he exchanged all those beast parts.

However, Eryndor had to make sure that people knew he was poor so that he wouldn't be targeted when he went out in the forest to hunt again.

Immediately after exchanging all the parts for spirit coins, he loudly asked for an audience with Master Iyu.

He was the one who was an expert in the spatial domain.

Eryndor deliberately got the counter to give him coins after selling all the beast parts, then openly gave them back to the counter to schedule a meeting with Master Iyu.

This way, everyone would know that all the spirit coins he got from selling the parts had already been used, and it was also not as if he got some kind of treasure weapon which could be stolen.

He basically bought an audience with a Master, which couldn't be stolen.

Disciples who had discreetly entered the main hall of the Training Camp while trailing behind Eryndor disappointedly went back to doing their own work.

Eryndor mentally heaved a sigh of relief and followed one of the staff into a private room.

The room was a basic one, with wooden walls and flooring. It had a big sofa, and two small single seater sofa chairs surrounding a rectangular glass table in the middle, on which an assortment of food and a flower vase lay.

Without touching any of those, he settled into a single seater sofa and waited for Master Iyu to arrive.

Of course, it was only after he was asked if he was free was he brought here. If he still had work to do, the staff would strive to schedule a meeting when both the parties were free.

Finally some time to rest in safety.

Eryndor thought back to the time when he cancelled his eldritch form.

I cancelled it back then because I had an interesting thought.

What if I was getting away with my eldritch form because an anomaly existed to take the blame?

His eyes narrowed. He had an inkling that his eldritch form gave away the aura of an anomaly, and that any device which was made to sense anomalies would sense his eldritch form as one as well.

What if that team had already dealt with the anomaly?

Eryndor still didn't know the status of that team. Were they successful? Or did they fail?

He also didn't know the progress of the Cultivation world in terms of combat against the anomaly.

From the memories of the disciples, it was apparent that none of them had ever heard of 'anomalies' before the announcement on the notice board was made.

However, like his earlier guess, if the department which dealt with anomalies was indeed so mysterious and secretive that they dealt with anomalies before anyone could even know of them, why were they out in the open now?

From all this, Eryndor could gather one thing.

This Bureau of Anomaly Control was highly likely formed just recently.

Since they were formed recently, Eryndor couldn't be sure about their progress into making a device capable of sensing anomalies.

On one hand, they just recently formed a department to combat the anomalies, therefore they obviously didn't have a lot of information.

On another hand, the Cultivation world was simply too massive. Way too massive.

It meant that their capacity to research, invent and develop things was on another level compared to the Earth.

For this reason, Eryndor wasn't sure about their progress.

Assuming that there was already a device capable of sensing anomalies, everytime he used eldritch form, they would have sensed an anomaly if the device's range was high enough.

However, now that they had already at least fought with an anomaly, what if the sensor notified them of an anomaly again?

Assuming that they dealt with the anomaly, wouldn't that be confusing? Or horrifying even?

However, fortunately unfortunately, unbeknownst to Eryndor, it was exactly what happened.
