CHAPTER 216: CHAPTER 217: BARK TWICE (PART 2)

"Mr. Kenton, what do you think?"

Kenton Maverick shrugged his shoulders, "If Kris Cooper wants to see it, then perform."

As soon as he spoke, Maggie Clarke’s heart almost sank. Even her own CEO had spoken. If she didn’t give face to Kris Cooper today, she probably wouldn’t survive in the future.

Looking around, at the pairs of eyes staring at her, at the phones held high by the onlookers, and not a single director or other staff willing to speak up for her, Maggie Clarke felt so aggrieved that tears almost fell.

Taking a deep breath, she slowly bent her knees and got down on the ground like a dog.

Kris Cooper looked down at her from above.

"Bark twice."

These three words were already tinged with coldness.

The people around watched Maggie Clarke, but their expressions varied. Those small staff members she had bullied all wore expressions of satisfaction, while the rest either watched from the sidelines or were there to be entertained... She had always been unpopular, and even her own assistant was cowering on the side. No one would plead for her.

After weighing it, she gritted her teeth and lightly barked twice.

"Woof... woof woof!"

Originally, many people were already gathered around to watch the fun, and when they heard a big name was here, it was already crowded with people.

Meanwhile, Tommy Taylor and Kenton Maverick’s assistant immediately signaled the security around them. The crowd quickly approached to escort Kenton Maverick and Kris Cooper away.

Before leaving, Kris Cooper glanced sideways at Vera Wave, then walked out of the crowd with Kenton Maverick.

Seeing this, Vera Wave hurriedly pulled Merlin Bradley towards the Changing Room to change clothes.

When Kris Cooper left, he gave her a glare, making it clear that he was very unhappy right now. She had to quickly find him to explain.

Sure enough, before she could change her clothes, his call came through.

Vera Wave quickly answered the call, speaking sweetly.

"Honey!"

The two soft words melted away half of Kris Cooper’s anger.

"You little brat, come over here immediately, Office Building 607."
