After hanging up the phone, Vera Wave immediately sent her email address to Daffa Perkin via text message, and then she and Merlin Bradley left the Film Studio to return to Ashton Company.

By the time they arrived at the company, Daffa Perkin had already replied via text, stating that the email had been sent.

Vera instructed Merlin Bradley to confirm the schedules of the extras she had previously selected, and then walked into her office to open her email.

As expected, Daffa Perkin’s email had arrived. Besides containing information on several young actors, there was also a script for "Flame".

Vera first carefully reviewed the information on the actors, selecting two men and two women she deemed most suitable. Wang Xiaoya also came in, handing Vera the storyboard script she had drawn up, "Take a look. If there’s anything off, I’ll revise it."

Vera looked at her three colleagues, smiling as she stood up.

"Thank you all for your hard work. I’ll review the script now. If there are no major issues, we can finalize the actors tomorrow and officially start the day after." She glanced at her watch, "It’s getting late. Brother Ruben, don’t you have to pick up your son? If there’s nothing else, you can call it a day! As for you two... Merlin and Xiaoya, you can clock out early too. Remember to be on time tomorrow morning. We’ll communicate with the director and audition the actors. If everything’s fine, we’ll start the day after tomorrow!"

The Planning Department doesn’t have fixed hours. Once work starts, it’s sure to involve overtime. Since they’re not started yet, they should rest as much as possible.

"Then we’ll head out first."

"Vera, don’t stay too late."

"Right, you’re our core person; you mustn’t get exhausted."

"I know, see you tomorrow."

After the greetings, they left the office, and Vera flipped open the storyboard script Wang Xiaoya had drawn to review it carefully.

Wang Xiaoya, with a professional art background, has a strong sense of camera and visual composition, reflecting her vision for the script. Vera attentively marked and made adjustments to some unreasonable parts.

Previously, Walter Wave’s real estate company also produced many promotional videos, and Vera, having studied advertising, gained experience along the way.

She is quite knowledgeable about these matters. Advertising directors differ from TV & Film directors; they are more technical, and the script and storyboard arrangements need her to decide.

In terms of drawing skills, she’s not as proficient as Wang Xiaoya, but having an art background herself, she’s able to handle this.

After reviewing the entire storyboard script twice, Vera raised her hand to massage her somewhat sore neck and looked out the window, seeing the twilight deepening.
