I Became a Kindergarten Teacher for Monster Babies!
Chapter 106 Chaos
CHAPTER 106: CHAPTER 106 CHAOS
Alina glanced around the classroom while the kids started picking their favorite colors.
Everything seemed normal.
But then... she noticed something different.
There was an extra cabinet.
A tall, shiny, unfamiliar cabinet near the art corner that hadn’t been there before.
Her eyes narrowed slightly. That wasn’t here last time... was it?
Curiosity got the best of her.
She walked over, placed her hand on the cool handle, and gently pulled the door open.
Her eyes widened.
Inside was a treasure trove.
Neatly stacked rows of expensive-looking watercolor tubes, oil paints in beautiful glass bottles, gold-rimmed palettes, bundles of crisp white sheets, and sparkling paintbrushes with real wooden handles. The kind rich noble kids probably used for portraits.
Alina blinked in disbelief.
Did someone raid a royal art store and donate it to Class D?
She reached in and carefully pulled out a bundle of thick, smooth white paper, the kind that smelled fresh and just a bit like vanilla.
"Teacher has new sheets!" she said brightly.
She turned—only to see Boo, holding two crayons like twin daggers.
One crayon in each small hand.
And he... was poking one of them into Sable’s shadow arm with curiosity.
"Boo!" Alina called sharply, eyes wide.
Boo froze mid-poke, then slowly turned his head toward her with the guiltiest smile.
"Just testing if it’s crayon-proof," he said innocently.
"Float away. Now."
Boo laughed and zoomed away like a mischievous comet, while poor Sable let out a tiny sigh of relief and shook his shadow arm off like it was ticklish.
Meanwhile, Lucien was sitting calmly observing Felix, who was sitting sideways in his chair and grooming his snow-white hair like a tiny pop star.
Cute.
Alina chuckled under her breath, then clapped her hands to gather everyone’s attention.
"Alright, sweethearts!" she said with a warm smile. "Today we’re going to make a painting! Something from your heart. It can be your favorite thing, your snack, your home—anything."
A few chairs squeaked as they shifted. Boo floated in circles. Sable carefully held purple crayon. Lucien folded his hands, quietly watching. Felix was still fussing over his collar.
"Let’s move the desks and chairs, so we can all sit together," Alina said, walking to the center of the room and helping push the nearest desk.
One by one, the kids joined in or, in Boo’s case, floated dramatically and did absolutely nothing helpful.
As they began forming a small circle in the middle of the classroom, Boo casually hovered near the old art cabinet.
Alina watched suspiciously.
Then—
"Teacher~!" Boo sang sweetly. "Look what I found~!"
He pulled out a giant cardboard box from the bottom shelf. It was almost the size of his entire body.
He plopped it open in front of everyone.
Inside?
Crayons.
Hundreds of them.
Big ones, tiny ones, twisted ones. Some were full. Some were half-bitten (possibly by Luna). A few had glitter stuck to the sides.
"FOR THE CRAYON KINGDOM!" Boo shouted and dove into the box like it was treasure.
Alina pressed her palm to her forehead. It was going to be one colorful, chaotic day
Alina smiled, holding up a white chalk marker. "Okay, sweethearts! Everyone can start making their art. Teacher will also draw something nice on the board, alright?"
They all nodded, very serious, like she had just announced an international art competition.
Alina turned toward the board and began drawing a peaceful scene — a large tree with curly leaves, a little river running beside it, a sky, a house with a sloped roof, and tall mountains in the back.
Once she was done, she turned around to check on her babies.
Time to see what her little artists were creating.
She walked quietly behind and stopped beside Sable.
He was using only purple crayons.
All the lines on his paper were soft and shaded — shadowy little trees, a cute uneven mountain, a river. But strangely... it looked familiar.
Alina tilted her head.
He was copying her board drawing.
Exactly.
Same tree. Same house. But everything was purple.
She smiled warmly. "You’re making my painting in shadow style?"
Sable gave a tiny nod, not looking up. His shadows moved around his crayon like assistants.
"Beautiful," Alina whispered.
Then she moved over to Felix, who was hunched over his paper, tongue peeking out of the side of his mouth.
He was drawing a house.
At least... she thought it was a house.
The structure had twelve windows on one side, a roof shaped like a hat, three doors (one floating in the air), and... was that a flag saying "No People Allowed"?
"Is this a mansion?" Alina asked gently.
Felix looked up and said. "No. It’s my private castle.."
"Oh."
Alina blinked. "Where’s the door?"
"Secret entrance. Hidden under my bed."
She nodded slowly. "...Of course it is."
Then she moved to Lucien, who was drawing slowly and carefully.
His little hand glided across the paper with neat, exact lines. His trees were symmetrical, the river even had tiny waves, and the mountains were shaded properly.
He was quietly copying her art.
But better.
She raised an eyebrow.
Lucien didn’t look up, just said softly, "I added a second house. For guests."
Alina placed a gentle hand on his head. "Thank you, sweetheart. Teacher feels honored."
Then came the final desk.
Boo.
Alina braced herself.
Boo had used the giant crayon box as his personal fortress. Crayons were stuck in his hair, one behind each ear.
"Boo," Alina said, trying not to laugh, "what are you drawing?"
He grinned and proudly held up his paper.
It was chaos.
A purple sun. A tree with legs. A river with angry eyes. And right in the center — a smiling stick-figure wearing a crown.
"That’s me!" Boo said. "And this is my kingdom of Crayonland! That’s my tree friend Kevin! He walks!"
Alina blinked at the tree with sneakers.
"Kevin looks fast," she said carefully.
"He can do cartwheels," Boo whispered dramatically.
Alina gave up.
She rubbed the top of Boo’s head with a smile on her face.
Her class was chaos.
