The journey from the Island of Knowledge to the Northeastern Great Plains is quite a long one.

If the Imperial Capital is the center of the Empire, then the Island of Knowledge lies slightly to the west, while the northeastern barbarian settlements and Count Dorckreif's domain are near the Empire’s very edge.

Traveling by carriage from the Island of Knowledge to the Blackwood Duchy takes an entire day. Reaching the Northeastern Great Plains, farther still, would take at least two days, or three with a group of this size.

Agnes, accompanied by her fire spirit, returned after making rounds to light campfires across the numerous groups: the August siblings, the Hero’s Party, the royals, and the mercenaries.
