CHAPTER 401: CHAPTER 401: LET’S GO SWIMMING

After Lu Xiangxiang and Cai Zhenglian left, Xu Xiuxiu had originally planned to take the children straight back to their room. But when Xiuxiu suggested going swimming, Little Baby took it seriously. Little Baby had always loved playing in the water and hadn’t gone into the sea even though they had been at the beach all day because they had driven there and sitting in the car for a few hours had made her somewhat uncomfortable. So now, the little girl started tugging at Xu Xiuxiu’s hand and coquettishly pleaded, "Mommy, take Chen Xi swimming! Chen Xi wants to swim!" As she spoke, the little girl looked at her with the cuteness that made her eyes sparkle like gems softening your heart.

Little Baby usually acted more spoiled with Song Yuanhuan and her brothers; she did it less so with Xu Xiuxiu. But Xu Xiuxiu truly couldn’t resist the little one’s fervent plea.

"So, you really want to go into the water that badly!" Xu Xiuxiu shook her head, showing a bit of helplessness, then turned to look at the three boys lined up beside her like traffic lights, from tallest to shortest, "What about you guys? Do you want to swim too?"

"Yes." They responded in unison, a harmony that had never before occurred.

"Alright then!" Xu Xiuxiu nodded in acquiescence, "Let’s go back to the room to change clothes, and then we’ll go swimming!" Xu Xiuxiu agreed, nodding. Although she initially just wanted to casually help Lu Xiangxiang and learn what she wanted help with, as someone who couldn’t swim and considering the scorching weather, being in an open-air pool, soaking in the water and admiring the unpolluted stars and moon high in the sky, was certainly a wonderful thing.

"Yay! Thank you, Mommy. You are the best mom in the entire world." Little Baby was overjoyed when Xu Xiuxiu agreed. Even walking back to the hotel room, she hopped and pranced like a little rabbit, her little legs seemingly floating off the ground the entire way. Her joyful appearance was exceptionally rare, instantly dispelling all of Xu Xiuxiu’s hesitations about indulging the children.

Kids! They are still young, always restraining them isn’t good. They were here on vacation, after all, and occasionally indulging is necessary.

"Daddy, Chen Xi is really good at swimming." Little Baby, at the age of three, had never swam with her father, Song Yuanhuan, so she was now trying her best to show off in front of him.

"Really?" Yuanhuan voiced his doubts.

"Really, mom said Chen Xi swims like a little mermaid, which is amazing. Chen Xi learned to swim after only three tries, and my brother is also good at swimming..."
