Woosh!

Sylvester crossed the tear in space he created with his bare hands. The fear-stricken face of Aveda was clear to him, the slow realization sinking to the primordial God that there was no escape from a battle.

'It feels different.' Sylvester no longer felt the need to apply magic, Solarium, or any sort of energy. His mere thought to do something, his mere will, was enough to get everything done. He didn't have to walk; instead wished to approach Aveda's form, and he did.

"S-Since when…!" Aveda questioned, his voice trembling with shock, finding Sylvester an arm's length away. "Your schemes… since when?!"

"From the moment I arrived as Sylvester Maximilian—in the past, in the future, all with one purpose," Sylvester responded, raising his palm towards Aveda's white humanoid form. "Thank you, Aveda. Your greed to possess your brother's might stood as the foundation for the rise of my light."

"I see the same blind pride as Ashraska," Aveda responded, his expression turning from fright to smugness. "My essence touches everything in existence—I am everywhere at once, I am—eternal."

"Let me change that." Sylvester's raised palm started to glow in a golden hue, the light growing brighter and more intense. A magnificent warm halo appeared behind his head, casting a soft, ethereal glow. Tiny, countless sparkles of dust materialized out of thin air, swirling around in the dark space of the unknown universe, before getting absorbed into Sylvester's body.

Aveda's eyes widened in shock. He felt his presence in that universe depleting. His connection with his essence vanished. It was impossible; even he couldn't do that. "H-How?"

"For the mere reason that I was born and brought for this—creation, destruction, absorption—aspects of nature, what I have become." Sylvester continued to absorb any trace of Aveda's control in that universe.

"Yet…" Aveda vanished faster than an eye could blink.

Sylvester didn't have to do anything and just willed to appear right where Aveda was. He still didn't know the true extent of his power, but he felt he could do anything. "Yet?"

"The place, the people for whom you fought this long." Aveda threatened, standing in the universe that was Sylvester's origin, looking down at the single shining orb that was a planet. "They remain fragile as mortals—"

Aveda abruptly stopped speaking and turned around as if Sylvester wasn't even there. He stared at the planet down there, still rotating ever so slowly, still bustling with life. The more Aveda looked at it, the more his body shivered, his physical form appearing no different from a mortal. This chapter was first seen on MV^LEM^PYR.

Sylvester flew closer to the primordial god. "If Ashraska was your equal, then we're not equal."

Aveda looked back, his eyes bulging red, his body starting to disintegrate, marking the beginning of his final struggle. "It makes no sense… Your existence makes no sense."

"I know, and that's why you're on the losing end," Sylvester responded and prepared to end the whole race. "Through me, the hopes of countless worlds, gods, and beings shall be fulfilled. This odyssey shall end when you're killed."

"You… can try~" Aveda's voice turned whispery as his physical body vanished completely, becoming one with the very space around them.

Woosh!

Out of nowhere, a violent white beam of light emerged and struck Sylvester from behind. As soon as the beam made contact, it turned into a scene of cosmic horror, creating ripples in space and time, shredding Sylverster's physical body into long, thin strands as if made of threads.

Snap!

However, a snap of Sylvester's fingers rang despite it being a vacuum of space. His entire body appeared as if never been affected, and the attack from Aveda vanished.

"You still don't understand what I can do," Sylvester voiced, and snapped his fingers once again. With that, right at the center of his chest, a small hole formed, shining in a golden hue. The effect of it was invisible, but Aveda could feel it—his energy getting sucked into the hole in the chest. "Credit where credit is due—This move is inspired by Chonky."

"No!" Aveda bellowed, his voice echoing from all sides. "I will take you down with me then! Haaaa~"

The entire darkness of the universe abruptly began turning white. No, it wasn't a change in darkness, but rather Aveda's energy simmering bright. Like an explosive, aiming to take down everything that existed in that space.

'It's all useless.' Sylvester muttered, emotionless, lacking any excitement or dread, as if he no longer represented anything alive, sentient. 'The battle ended the moment Solis succeeded—I succeeded.'

Sol, Holy Land.

"You don't eat these days. Open your mouth, Lord Chonky."

"I don't wanna, Big Mum… I'll wait for Maxy to come back," Miraj replied, lying flat on his belly on the open windowsill, staring at the sunny sky with his dreamy blue eyes.

"Look at you, grown so thin. Max won't be happy seeing you less chubby." Xavia warned him, trying to feed him his favorite banana pudding. "Come on now, open your mouth."

"Nyo…" Miraj tiredly rejected. "I'll wait."

"It's been three years, Lord Chonky. Max warned us it'll take time to finish his work." Xavia gently caressed his furry back. "Don't be like this."

"I miss Maxy… Is he safe?" Miraj meowed in a low purr, his little kitty heart scared of losing his dear 'son'. "I'll wait forever."

Woosh!

All of a sudden, right before their eyes, the entire sky turned bright white. So white that they couldn't even stare at it directly, unless they had the strength to do so. Xavia quickly looked away due to the strain, but Miraj kept staring without blinking.

His little nose twitched uncontrollably, and a big, happy smile formed on his mouth. "M-Maxy! It's Maxy! He's doing it!"

"Father?!" Ella heard him and dropped the book she was reading, jumping to look at the sky. Being a prodigy, her strength allowed her to look straight up. "I-It's Solarium… So much of it!"

"I know it's Maxy!" Miraj continued to mewl, standing up on all four.

At the same time, just a little distance away, Felix babysat his three daughters alone, a little rope tied to his foot and connected to the three swinging beds. He sat by the window, reading the latest novel by a very talented, cultured, low-ranked Priest from the South.

Woosh!

He smiled widely before even glancing up at the sky. However, he simply turned the page and continued reading. "Took you long enough, you damn light bulb."

In the camp of the Inquisitors,

Lord Inquisitor, semi-retired, oversaw the training for the new recruits in the open grounds, sparring with each other using magical means. They all looked down as soon as the light in the sky shone, but for him, he felt a new warm fire burn with more fury deep in his heart.

'Welcome back, Your Holiness, the realm awaits your return. The peace we have managed by all means, now it's only the light we yearn.'

Pope's Palace,

Pope Gabriel, with his raccoon eyes and a slightly hunched back, stared at the countless files and papers on his table. His hands were moving with speed, writing two different things. Such was his work that he had forced himself to learn to write with both hands.

Woosh!

Thud!

As soon as he saw the light out of the window, his face fell on the table with a thud, his shoulders relaxing.

"Pardon me, Solis, but thank fucking goodness! I can finally retire!"

Knock! Knock!

"Your Holiness, five more requests for approval have arrived."

In the space,

"No, no, no, no… Not like this… no!"

Aveda tried to use his very essence to lay waste to everything that existed. If not his, then it shouldn't belong to any. Yet, as soon as he spread his energy into all of the space, he found his control over his own self completely lost.

With huge, sharp, golden eyes, Aveda saw them appear everywhere he looked, as if they only existed in his thoughts. They stared at him as if he didn't mean anything, his existence just a puny little dust in the grand scale of things.

"I-I surrender! I will obey you, Solis… I will be your servant for eternity!" Aveda pleaded, unable to do anything but speak. Everything, all of his powers, felt detached from him. "Please… not like this… Don't erase me… Father wouldn't…"

How small Aveda felt, it reminded him of his creator, the being he and his siblings once called father. The being that left them all to rule over the existence itself—yet all they did was battle each other until only he remained.

"Y-Yes!" Hysteria set in. "F-Father is doing this! Father made you! Yes, he's punishing me! Father, please forgive me, please give me another chance."

But there was no father—Only Sylvester, watching the shining bright universe from beyond the flow of time, like a little marble in his palms. His control over everything only kept growing, becoming absolute—Not just a constant, he had become something greater than Aveda or Ashraska, something that shouldn't be mortally possible.

He was, everywhere, everything, in every being—all at once.

"Aveda, the food chain has changed. The predator has become the prey, such is the fate arranged."

"No, no… Don't erase me!"

"I was content being a mere Pope." Sylvester destroyed, making his move invisibly, absorbing the very existence of Aveda as if nothing but a little solarium crystal. "I am the reply to you, to all the lost hope."

Snap!

"Return to nothing, your rightful place." Sylvester consumed and consumed, his senses growing, his mind turning into a multidimensional storage of memories, where the rivers of past, present, and future flowed at the same time. "Peace, let this reality embrace…"

He once again began to lose a sense of himself, his personality, his identity, and his memories. Replaced by everything that was around him—the tiniest of chemical reactions, the formations of black holes, the birth of stars, the spark that formed new universes—all the information stored within the thoughts of one single being.

Johnathan Colt Westerling—Sylvester Maximilian—Solis

Snap!

And with the absorption of the last speck of Aveda, the last primordial fell to his end, paying his due. The universe covered in bright energy regained its dark hue.

Leaving a formless, timeless, thoughtless being. Just present as an entity of the natural law of existence, automatically enforcing as it willed—Was there still any trace left of the golden child with all the destinies fulfilled?
